- Curacao and Nicaragua played in the Opening Round of the International Bracket in the 2022 Little League World Series.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I started making them with team logos on the left, and a game snapshot on the right, and I’ve gotten almost all of my video views with that style.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

US teams look miles behind the international teams this year
well i mean yeah that makes sense. japan is gonna be better than a region of the u.s.

@@titoslounge1946 it’s difficult to keep them in LL. We had a little success with my son’s team. Best player on that squad was named to the Big 10 All Freshmen team this spring.
@@jacob-oh6gu the teams from other counties are not represented the best players of that particular country. The best region will represent the country. On Curaçao (island of 160.000 inhabitants) for example there are two regions. The region who wins will go on to represent the island in the caribbean.
Bigger countries like japan have more regions and teams.

The USA always goes to the finals by the way, so there’s always a 50% chance no matter the competence of its teams.

After 51 years away, Nicaragua makes it to the Little Leagues big show. Curaçao is a great team but the Nica kids have nothing to hang their heads about. Go Nicaragua !

That diving catch by the Curacao starter was the game changing play. Kurkjian was right that it's a different game if he doesn't make that play
Nicaragua is a better team than Curaçao. Ball just did not go their way. Congrats to Curaçao. What a great game to start with, super exciting game. I would like to see these two teams play again. Both pitchers were stellar!!

I remember being the size and age of the Curacao pitcher struggling to throw mid 60s and he's damn near hitting 80.

@@brianmeen2158 But travel teams don’t typically consist of players from the same LL district boundaries. That’s the point of LL. Kids from the same patch of ground.

Nicaragua pitcher needs some coaching. His windup is completely useless if he stops his leg momentum. If you're going to do that, just take a small step forward from the stretch
