What an absolutely fabulous review. I especially loved the demonstration showing height over the wheelbarrow and dumping technique. Will save me lots of trouble! Very much obliged for taking the time to benefit others by making this video.
It is good I have got similar one and what my opinion is let it spin when you put cement and aggregate and pour it out. If you stop it the start is really tough to the motor
If anyone finds this. I just got a new one. It will hold up to 270 lbs of concrete. I put 4 bags of 60 lbs of cement it. As long as you’re on level ground, it has no problem with that amount. Only problem is, when you dump 240lbs in your wheel barrow, you better be ready for it. Highly recommend getting a two wheeled wheel barrow. Other wise 3 bags are more manageable in the wheel barrow. I did find it’s not easy to move around and it’s just large and unwieldy. The pivot bolt doesn’t do a good job of holding it in place when moving it. Thinking about drilling it out and putting a pin through it. Otherwise, this thing is worth the money and pretty handy. Just make sure to leave the machine running and pivot towards the side to dump. The wheel barrow fits nicely underneath and the machine spins all the cement out. Works great! Also, make sure to put water in first before the cement. Thank me later. lol.
I know but it's hard throwing in bagged stuff when it's running and to much hassle and expense to get it delivered but thanks again for your kind comments.
I've seen some written reviews on HD's website complaining about not being able to hold 3 bags and the framing being weak enough to collapse. Thoughts?
I just finished using it in December. I built a walkway with tumbled glass. It is still going strong. I clean it thoroughly after each use and it looks good. Worth the money.
I have used this mixer almost non stop since getting it and it mixes fast and well. I do not overload it, I put 2 x 60 pound bags in with extra sand and cement. Once i put all the stuff in the mixer it takes around 3 - 5 minutes and the mix is good. Now, once I have poured this into a barrow I am setting everything up and mixing the next one so when I pour the first mix and get back the second mix is done. I am doing large pads in the garden around 4x4x5 they take around an hour to mix and pour. Then I just have to finish it up but that's a lot longer because of drying time.
Thanks for the video. I'm about to click the purchase button. Approximately how long does it take to mix 3-4 bags? I'm paying a kid by the hour to run the wheelbarrow back and forth, and just trying to get a handle on the budget. I'm doing 0.81 yards (49 60-pound bags) so I'm trying to calculate my mix-and-haul time. Thanks much!
those 60# bags or premix concrete that Home Depot sells are something under a cubic foot each. I'm having a hard time believing this thing would take 5 of those bags at tone time.
So I was going to let this comment slide but every device I picked up it was in my face. So, I am going to answer you. 1st of all I didn't realize the Osha Police were watching me and secondly I am working outside. If you came here to watch a review and it helped then my job is done. If you came here for any other reason then thumb me down and move on. I have worked on building sites for 30 years and never seen anyone wear a mask until covid. Thank you for your comments.
You’re the only reviewer that was smart enough to pivot to pour. Good job.
Are you talking about how a lot of them just tilt forward on the wheels?
Exactly what I was thinking!

Wow! Thank you for your kind words
Very nice job and great video.
Should have the mixer running when you put cement in so it isn't so hard on the motor dead starting all that weight.

@@EnglandAndy dangerous too. get a shovel caught...it will cut you in half.
Gratitude for making this 🙏
Thanks Chef Irvine..
Awesome, just what i needed to see, F awesome Bruh!

I wouldn’t do 3 bags the hole mixer moves because of the weight. 2 x 80 lbs is enough
@@EnglandAndy think I could push to 3x60?
@@kajekage9410 probably not, when mixing as it turns it will start to fall out the drum.
That man needs a beer
Thank you bruv
Great review, thanks 👍
How much. Pricelist that portable mixer cement. In one mixer. How many bag of cement can mixe
It does 2 x 80 lbs easy.
Will it dump into the whell barrow ?
Yes
how has it held up?

All looks good to me.

Go get one it’s so much better than the Harbor Freight one

Lol the info I needed back when I used the harbor freight itd take 5-10 mins for the max where it struggled which was 2 bags
@@thatguyjoshthattallguyy6179 It was a no brainer to get this mixer if only for the fact that just putting it together takes less than an hour.
What did it cost?
@@brandonGCHACHUI bought mine from Home depot for $299 but Amazon is around $270 which I later found out.
Where to get one and how much does it cost
Look at my links to amazon where it says show more

I put 2 x 80 or 2x60 and that's it. It mixes it fast so 2 at a time works for me.
@@Noworries92 I agree with you. If you put 3 x 60lb bags in with the water it starts sloshing out.
It won’t. Only 3 60’s or 2 80’s. Period. That
Nice Machine.
How much cement can you put in it?
Good Video!
Thank you and I don't put more than 2 bags in it
@@EnglandAndy how many lbs per bag?
@@christiannepogie5937 I usually mix 2 x 60lbs , It can take more but with 2 bags It's not spilling out
@@EnglandAndy awesome thank you for that information.
I would hope at least two 80lb bags with 4 cu ft barrel
how many bags can it mix at once?
It should mix two bags.
I found that 2 was my sweetspot and anymore and it would start sloshing and spilling out.
i counted 29 rpm
Takes 7 mins to assemble
Great call on wearing a mask... concrete is no joke if your doing a lot you can get pretty sick.
