The rack on the back of the tank is the actual radio aerials that were fitted to those early war type german vehicles, because it is an actual command tank,I have the Dragon kit of Erwin Rommel's command 250/3 half-track,and it has this frame tube type of aerial also, cheers

That's a good looking kit ! I'm glad you like the Battle of France markings. 35(t) in the Polish Campaign were all A models (as far as I know). They didn't have the frame antenna until France for some. The 35(t) was modified for the Russian Campaign by standard frame antenna for command tanks. Also, many units had their own modifications. Fender boxes were common as was mounted jerry cans on the left rear fender corner. Mounted horizontal and with the Jack block on top to hold them in place. More fuel cans were mounted on the rear with a board across the back and also along the engine sides. If you want an interior and/or engine, you should get a CMK kit (not the Tamiya or Revel issued). CMK offers various versions of both the command tank and the standard. Both can be had with or without the P/E and resin. If the cost is similar get the command version with resin, P/E (several sheets and decals for 7th Panzer Division in both kits) and metal gun barrels for both main and MGs. CMK does an extensive job on the interior kit with lots of resin and P/E ! They have an engine kit too. I've not had the engine kit so can only say based on what I've seen in their other kits it's probably just what your looking for.
If you want to see a build, too my good friend. Harry Hudanie has a build of one of the CMK kits in its original livery. Now you know so if I can be of help just ask......

oh wow ...thanks for all the info mate. This is one of the things i love about this hobby. Made so many mate and always learning new stuff. I really appreciate you taking the time mate. I will look at getting the CMK kit when i get closer to building it. I will probably be fishing for some info at this point mate.

scalemodelmania Well feel free to ask me for help, my friend. I'm afraid I can't say much about your Academy kit but you don't really need the interior or engine unless you want to show them. I must say that the CMK kits are outstanding in the depths of detail it gives you. Of course you can't see much of it but it's there ! I confess that I'm thinking about working on one of mine. Trouble with that is trying to decide whose markings and camo to use. I've got the decals from the Revel kit which has the Romaniaian markings. I'm also able to do several tanks and command tanks from the 7th Panzer division. Choices choices ..........

lol...yeah i know what you mean. I have the same pain with a lot of models which i have after market decals for. I sometimes buy more then one of the same kit just to cover my bases when i can not decide. Ah the joys of modelling.
