    Just for information
    If you are in the north of Jutland, you are not at the Baltic Sea ;-)
    Either the North Sea, Kattegat or Skagerrak.
    Hope you enjoyed your holiday 🙂

      Thanks for the clarification. We had our holiday home at the Kattegat and did awesome hikes along the Skagerrak coast. That would be way more precise of course :)

    Great video Matthias, I do enjoy your level of detail. Just had a delivery update on mine, should be coming mid November, 85x Sportline Plus with the Maxx pack in Race Blue. Can’t wait.

    Find these videos so interesting, my 85x is arriving next month, first e mobility vehicle. Nervous and excited at the same time. All I hear from people is range anxiety but you make it look so easy!! Thanks for the videos 🎉

      Thanks for watching and have fun with your car. You will see that range anxiety isn't a big deal once you start driving an EV. :)

      We had great weather afterwards with only little to no rain over the course of our two weeks. Denmark was a real great experience for us. Hope to visit it soon again :)

    Great video with your experience of a long trip on holiday. My experience is much the same in the I charge to a higher level (SOC) than I need just so I have long enough for the break, especially if it is a meal stop.

    Very nice video Matthias!👍 Your experience is valuable. And I agree, traveling with an EV is really easy these days. No charging stress.
    Last May I drove to Lake Garda (1200km) with my wife and daughter with one stopover in Dietmannsried. On route I mostly charged at Ionity also because I like their layout. True, a roof like Fastned has would be welcome. Average consumption on the whole trip (3300km) was 18,5kWh/100km at an average speed of 83km/h. Pretty good indeed.
    Luckily the average temperature was a little over 20 degrees, so the charging peak of my MY22 Enyaq iV60 reached 130kW most of the time when starting below 20% SOC.

    You were as far North as I am, just further east across the sea. Similar "Summer" weather as we have been getting in Scotland.

      Thanks for your feedback...I guess we should put Scotland on our vacation list as well. Still searching for that place at the rough coast of the northern sea where we want to move and live :)

      @@electrifiedspeicher you should definitely visit! Just this summer has been wetter than usual, but plenty sun too, just not super warm. I've filled my new Enyaq only on solar power so far (3 weeks)

    An alternative is to have monthly subscription with Tesla (subscription included if driving a Tesla). Good to have options. BTW have you compared IONITY with Tesla Superchargers subrscription and electricity fees?

    • @electrifiedspeicher
      @electrifiedspeicher  2 месяца назад

      Yes I did that comparison at the start of our journey and ionity was a bit cheaper than Tesla but since Tesla has dynamic pricing and ionity don't it's hard to tell the exact amount I saved. But basically it was around 10ct./kWh cheaper than with a Tesla subscription

  • @BlackCountryLad
    @BlackCountryLad 3 месяца назад

    Tesla subscription is very cheap in the U.K. £8.99 subs and 34 pence cheap rate and 43 pence peak.

      Thanks for the information. We'll keep that in mind because southern U.K. might be one of our next holidays!

    Do you track temperature in the trunk? I'm curious if just running AC in the car is enough to make sure dog won't overheat in the trunk. In many cars it is way too hot in the trunk during summer, regardless what temperature AC is set on.

    • @electrifiedspeicher
      @electrifiedspeicher  2 месяца назад +1

      I did track it a couple of times before leaving the dog in the trunk and the AC turned on...it worked quite well and the car stayed at the desired Temperature even in direct sun. Although I'm not that much a fan of leaving the dog in the car because hardware may fail and then it gets hot very fast.

    • @peridromofil
      @peridromofil 2 месяца назад

      Right, I wouldn't leave my dog for long while car is parked either, but just driving under the sun makes trunk overheated in many cars, too. Great that Enyaq's AC handles it well, thanks for info!

      @@electrifiedspeicher does she enjoy driving the enyaq? My wife didn't drive my old one as she felt it was too big (even though she did drive the tesla I had before). I l haven't persuaded her to drive the new one either.

    • @markthomas7104
      @markthomas7104 3 месяца назад +1

      My wife is not keen to drive the Enyaq either, as she also feels it is to big compared to her small city car that she normally drives. She does enjoy being the passenger though.
