is there a way to make the background greenscreen or bluescreen so i could use it as an overlay for another video?

For blender u can also render the animation transparent by using Quicktime and selecting RGBA
export transparetn background

i was just being a dumbass. the effect didnt show up because i was in eevee and i wasnt on rendered view. if it doesnt work be sure to check those 2 settings

That’s probably because you are in eeve mode. Switch to cycles.

Hey so it really depends on what you want to do in blender. For me it took me about 1 year thought I have been spending around 8 hours a day. If you just started. My best advice would be to keep practicing as much as you can throughout the day and the results will come. You will get used to blender very fast and then it becomes easy to create anything! Keep putting in the work!

When I select text at 2:08 I do not see ‘New’, what do I do?
Hello. It might be because you have already created a material for the text. Press that little X button in the shading tab to delete it and then you can create a new one!!

@1:56 I put it in render mode but the new blank pane at the bottom doesn't pop up and it doesn't allow me to click new
It’s because you have already created a material for that object. Press he X button to delete it and then new to start a brand new one.

how long did it take you to render?
It took me around 40 minutes with the gtx 1660 at 500 samples
why did you remeshed it?
So that I can smooth it in the sculping mode to get rid of the sharp edges. Kinda like adding a bevel
@@Sidivisuals i think a better way is to add big bevel so its rounded

Yea I didn’t wanna get straight to the camera settings. Beginner artists would not be able to follow along and complete the tutorial.
