This was great, I haven't heard this performance of Sinister Smiles in quite a while, and you are right about being able to pick up on the vocals. This song is a great example of how The Warning is great at writing songs you can sing along with, and they are great at getting that audience participation. And, this was the level they were at....4 years ago!! I recommend you look at tickets soon, they have been selling out shows throughout Europe. The Warning will be playing at the Steelhouse Festival in late July, too.
If this is the first time you can hear the drummer, Pau, sing, you have a lot more videos to watch :) Dust to Dust, 23, Survive, and Narcisista are all classic Pau heavy tracks. I enjoy any of the Whiskey A Go-Go, Teatro Metro, and DiDo Monterey performances. The live performance of Evolve at the 23 VMAs is another epic live performance from the ladies.

Great choice. I'm so used to other recordings of this that I forgot how good this one is. It's a great tiny venue in Hollywood/L.A. every classic band has played this venue from The Doors in the 1960s up through Guns n Rose's. Pau was joking and said she doesn't think they even sweep the floors because even the dust is magical. 😅
I suggest the sing "Shattered Heart" from this concert. If you do choose to do this, play to the end of the video where they start the next song, there is a fun little surprise 😊.
The greatest source of live TW is Lunario ( still with the early rawness but now super competant) Teatro Metro, CDMX, Atlas Rise from this Whisky Agogo. Their live "cave" recordings. These are some of the best recordings.
in my comments on *Dull Knives* i speak about another DPA/TW song on this same album with lyrics about blood staining the water... *Sinister Smiles* is the song... grab the dagger cut through skin and stain the water it is not said this way directly but i see it as using a dull dagger in a bathtub of water which would contain the mess...
