2:56 “ I know exactly what I have to do with those reeds (Box #5) before I play them”. ❓What is that? Do you cut them or sand them? // That vibration study is the one most interesting practice videos ever seen. I cannot believe I could hear him. Every note is different. Wow!
You must do the same vibration study technique on the saxophone, because the saxophone is even more difficult to excite correctly; sax is a conical instrument, it can easily go in the overtone on the same fingering of the base note. So, by breathing in slowly, you create a subtone first (a cushion of slow air that excites only the fundamentals of the note). Creating a lush subtone on a saxophone is an art in itself, and gives an incredible charm to the instrument. In short, if you struggle with exciting the clarinet to the correct note after a pause, find someone's saxophone to practice the same technique. It will help you enormously.
Le note basse prima del portavoce si sentono ben definite e collegate ma quelle sopra sono indistinte ( non sono note ) si devono sentire le note distinte e collegate nello stesso tempo (nessuno lo sa fare ? )

He has a set of mouthpieces from 2016-2018 that he rotates. All Williamson model mouthpieces. At the time he was playing Jx/Bc mouthpieces I think.
