It looks like a burrito in that wrapping. Dear Bosendorfer - you are welcome to gift me a piano at any time. It doesn't even have to be one of the big ones because I can't fit it anyway.
When I moved from Europe to the USA, the special Bösendorfer crate had unpacking instructions in English. While many people don’t like reading instructions (especially movers?). They are so important they must be followed to the T to prevent damage, scratching, etc. This video doesn’t mention the unpacking instructions.
I really like the sound of Steinway's piano. Nevertheless, it is very unfortunate that although there are many excellent and diverse pianos like Bösendorf, we rarely see or hear them played by brands other than Steinway or Yamaha in concert halls or on recording albums. Lastly, the sustain is ridiculously amazing.

Not your typical "unboxing" video but really interesting to watch. What a beautiful sound, right out of the box!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I wish to receive a similar package 😅
That sounded great right out of the box!
Amazing work, beautiful sound.
Many thanks!

Well, that's because we have unboxed many Bösendorfer's in the past.
My Bechstein came unboxed. Gott sei Dank.

His new owner must be happy for buy it.
So satisfying! 😊😊😊
Glad you think so!
I don’t understand…What’s “satisfying “ about it?

Awesome video. Is the rounded jig specific to Bosendorfers? It made turning it over so much more secure.
Yes, it is called Moon Dog.
It’s not specific to Pianos. It’s a company that sells piano moving eq.
Last I heard.
What is the yellow metal brace that attaches to the pedal area?
Sounds great and didnt have to.tune it out of the box 😊😊
Grand Piano Haus' chief piano technician, Jeff Tasch spent about a whole day on prepping this 185VC. Too bad we did not make a before and after video.
@@GrandPianoHaus understand that ,even a new expensive guitar out of the box has to be set up ,sounds great though 😊😇
I have always preferred Bosendorfer to all those bloody Steinways.
How much it costs?
The MSRP is $170,000 USD.
I'm drooling...
I will include a handkerchief.
@@GrandPianoHausmake it two!!
sounded too bright for a bosendorfer to me, not sure why!
Bösendorfer hammers are highly voiceable.
Somehow, you just don't expect a $80k piano to come in a cardboard box.
