  • Dr Dan's student discusses the improvements they've experienced from practising vocal exercises daily, highlighting newfound awareness of tongue placement, tension release, and raising the soft palate.
They mention how these exercises have led to less strain and noticeable differences during live performances, even when belting notes. They also note a significant reduction in vocal fatigue, although they acknowledge the need to remain focused on implementing these techniques to prevent falling back into old habits.

Don't worry, you're not alone! Many singers find it challenging to perform on camera, but with practice, you can develop the skills to sing effortlessly in any situation. Keep working on your technique, breathing, and relaxation exercises, and try to focus on enjoying the experience of singing rather than worrying about the camera. Remember that everyone has their own unique journey and pace of progress, so be patient and kind to yourself along the way. Keep pushing yourself and don't give up, because the rewards of singing effortlessly are well worth the effort!

@@DrDanRobinson yes I finally got rid of camera fear and today I sang with ease we gotta learn to be a kid again lol as kids we are confident and free, but the problem is people gain fear and doubt from society and bad experiences and we lose our confidence and freedom that we had as kids and I also believe the same what she said about attention if I don't pay attention sometimes I manipulate my sound or overdo it it is the ego that keeps interfeiring lol I don't push or overdo meaning straining, but overdoing the song I would say exaggerate

It's fantastic to hear that you've overcome your camera fear and are now singing with ease. Embracing that childlike confidence and freedom is such an essential part of personal growth, and it seems like you're really tapping into that energy. You're absolutely right about the impact of fear, doubt, and societal pressures on our confidence.
It's also great to see that you're aware of the importance of paying attention and not letting your ego interfere. Striking the right balance between expression and restraint is key to giving your best performance. Keep embracing your inner child and continue to grow as a singer. You've got this! 🎤✨

@@DrDanRobinson yes, but with certain songs I still feel so self conscious maybe not of the camera, but more of family hearing me so the camera might not always be the biggest problem
