2:26 BAAHAHAHA I LOVE IT!!! Not only does the audience lady know they correct words in a nice operatic octave, she also sings that line IN harmony with the chorus!! LOLOLOL OMG I crack up every time I hear her sing that line! And I just noticed that the same lady sings the same thing earlier in the song too!!
Thank you sooo very much. Little Tammy was such an inspiration to me and still is. Live her life, THEN judge her. I've seen her last interview. I believe whatever she had done wrong she paid for, in spades!
She had a ton of charisma in that tiny four-feet, ten-inch body. She also had a truckload of talent and would have made it without Jim. She was the REAL draw of the original PTL, not Jim. Jim's current program is a crashing bore because she is not there.
She had such energy & her love for Jesus was evident. I don't know if I have ever had that energy. She sings songs with great enthusiasm. How I miss her.
Bill Gaither always starts a concert with a rousing song that gets the audience awake, etc. Tammy instinctively knew that audience participation was key to a good show. Jim looks like he doesn't know what to do as he follows her.
A beautiful soul that radiated God’s love was brought down because she loved all of God’s children and that stood in the way of the darker political aspirations of people like Jerry Falwell who plotted against her.
Tammy Faye was a sweet, caring, and beautiful soul. She is singing in God's heavenly choir now.
A genuine loving woman of faith who touched so many lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Love Her!
Tammy Faye's voice was a true gift from God . Beautiful. 🌲
COUNT ME IN! Thank you Tammy for you did for the gospel of Jesus Christ. You are gone, but you will never be forgotten.
tammy faye was the best gospel singer and preacher! ever!
Gosh, I haven't heard this old convention song in over 40 years

a beautiful soul inside and inside
Say what you want to about her but the girl could work a room.

@@ValleyoftheRogue I agree PTL was a success because of Tammy not Jim.

Back when the church was real
A beautiful soul that radiated God’s love was brought down because she loved all of God’s children and that stood in the way of the darker political aspirations of people like Jerry Falwell who plotted against her.
Thank you
Was this 1984?
America turned its back on God after the 80s..
Bernadette Peters sang it better in Fall from Grace
Don't think so. Bernadette Peters also never had Tammy Faye's charisma.
Actually, Bernadette did sing it better. She also did an outstanding job portraying Tammy Faye.
