@Ann Francis Oh but you are so wrong! None of us are perfect. She certainly loved Jesus Christ her Lord and Saviour. Even through all her trials and tribulations. And even now. She's still helping people through the love she showed others and never did she judge or condemn like you are doing. I'm very Thankful for her life but mostly because of the hope of Salvation that she was NEVER ashamed to confess no matter where she showed up. So check your heart . Are you an example of love and forgiveness? Or better yet..without Sin? Cast your stone.

@@sallycandice6088 you’re right and probably wasting your breath. Anyone that refers to someone as a “sheep” is usually some type of creep that spends their days and nights hating everyone and thinking they’re the smartest person in any room. She was a Christian. David was a man after Gods own heart yet he was the worst sinner. He loved the lord and he tried. Tammy tried. She reached out to those that others discarded. Men dying of AIDS that the church considered as sinners. Jesus reached out to sinners when he was on the cross. This guy would’ve said “pfft that thief isn’t worth your time. Go ahead, waste your last breathe on a worthless thief, you sheep!!” It’s a good thing Christy doesn’t think that way.

    • @hallinden3942

I am afraid she was not a 'real Christian'. She had a relationship with Jim's best friend while Jim was in prison and then later divorced Jim to marry the friend; ironically, the friend also went to prison later. I do not mean to speak ill of the dead, but I would not hold this woman up as a sign of a true Christian. She and Jim fleeced many good people out of large sums of money. I truly hope Tammy Faye repented and attained eternal life.

Do you always dig up someone’s past and remind them of their sins and failures? Do you not believe in forgiveness and the Blood of Jesus that washes away All sins and forgives? Satan is the accuser of the brethren. Don’t be an accuser. I believe she was forgiven. We all need to ask forgiveness and turn to Jesus and turn from our sins and turn to Jesus.

I HAVE A HUGE********* TESTIMONY from this song - GOD was with me- & HES with you too!! I heard Tammy sing this in person back around 86/87 -- it really touched my heart ok - then years later - something I worked very hard for was stolen - the odds were like a zillion to one id get it back .... instead of reacting in anger .. I got in my car / started crying for sure tho -& then this song came on the radio - I knew God was speaking directly to me & that I was going to get my thing ( bike!) back -- ohhh the story was beyond amazing - that’s the God i serve - AMEN! TEAM JESUS 💯💯💯 HALLELUJAH 🙌🏽🧩💒

Tammy Faye really longed to love her daughter, and I wish I could understand why Tammy Sue was having none of it. Tammy Faye seemed to just love her so much. There's nothing like a mother's love.

    • @cvdixon29

I noticed in several video's where Tammy Sue seemed to not want her mom touching her or trying to be loving, she'd pull away from her a little. When Tammy Sue was grown she and her mom appeared on a few shows together and they seemed to have a better relationship. Maybe it was just her being a teenager, teens seem to sometimes pull back from parents.

Jay Bakker has said their mom could be very mean to him, but that he understands that she was someone who was in a lot of pain. I’m guessing there was WAY more going on behind the scenes that we couldn’t see. Only Tammy Sue knows what was going on then.

Tammy Sue came to Azusa Conference at Mabee Ctr in Tulsa w/her Father at his first SPEAKING EVENT AFTER HE WAS RELEASED FROM PRISON... She also just appeared at an 80th BDay Tribute for her Daddy & PERFORMED THERE TOO❣️
I think she DEFINITELY had ISSUES behind the scenes w/her Mama’s issues... I have thought about her performance at Azusa since I saw them there that night.. She & her Brother BOTH have stayed out of the PUBLIC SPOTLIGHT I’m SURE BCOZ OF ISSUES THEY MUST HAVE WITH RELIGIOUS HOLIER THAN THOU ZEALOTS they were SURROUNDED BY AT HERITAGE USA THAT “USED” the EXPERIENCE AS CLIMBING THE LADDER OF 💰💰💰$UCCE$$ THEN TURNED THEIR BACKS ON THEIR FAMILY WHEN FEDS CAME CLOSING IN... People today have no way of knowing that in its hey-dey PTL was one of the most interesting programs on television whether the viewer was religious, though the Bakkers were charlatans or laughing at the goings-on. The fact is the Bakkers hired the best talent in television production, staging, lighting and certainly music to do their show and it was always high quality. It was sad, however, to watch Tammy Faye decline from a pert, sparkling start to someone clearly disoriented and depressed.

TS was Tammy Faye’s caretaker in the end. They were EXTREMELY close. TS was often by her mothers side throughout the 2000’s at many of Tammy Faye’s interviews, before the second time with cancer, when TS became her caretaker. TS was beside her mother when she passed.
This is very personal for TS and although it is sad to read this comment, you have to think about how sad TS is that her real mom isn’t around anymore. Though I may not agree with some things TS has said and done, she’s still human and deserves love and kindness. She loves her mom still, and I’m sure she loves the mother figure gap being filled by Lori.
