    I just finished watching Jessica Chastain's The Eyes of Tammy movie and I love it. Tammy has many redeeming qualities. She just wants to spread positivity and love to everybody. It's just sad that her image was muddied by her husband.

    An injustice was done to Tammy when she was living by anyone and everyone who laughed at her when all she did was bring positivity and GOD to so many of us. She loved all just like JESUS and Father God. I have renewed my faith with Lord and I am so grateful for my childhood memories being filled with Tammy Faye Bakker. Thank you Father for her guiding light back to you. He loves us all and wants us all to do our best! I know she is in heaven with God. Thank you for posting this!

    I just adored her, and I don't care what anyone says. Tammy Faye genuinely loved ALL people and that is more than I can say for most people today. I remember her singing this song as her last performance when everything came crashing down. It is so sad to me that so many people judge her when they claim to be "Christian". If they really were truly Christian they would forgive Tammy, and realize we all sin, and some sins are bigger than others, but we all deserve to be forgiven. RIP Tammy

    whoever did the bimbo comment...
    let me tell you about this little women of God.
    she had the heart to get on Christian TV and tell everyone she had become addicted to cold meds. just for her to use the word...ADDICTED freed so many Christians to seek help with their issues.
    this women sang through real tears and sorrows helping others to fight yet another day.
    she let Christian women know it was ok to wear makeup and look beautiful for their husbands. yes i thought she wore much more than she needed but everyone hides behind something.
    what I do remember is each day, she stood up in front of our nation and sang about the love her God shows even while we are sinners.
    finallly, this women continued to sing right up until the day she went home to see her God.
    you may want to joke about this women, but at least remember, she held her faith 24/7. she sang praises to her God while her body was in more pain than you could imagine.
    what have you done for God?
    PS.
    THE WINANS
    BB & CC WINANS got their start because of her.
    the HAPPY GOODMANS, who I still love became more famous.
    JEANNIE JOHNSON AND HER BELOVED. my list could go on and on.

    • @bridgettebianchi9315
      @bridgettebianchi9315 4 года назад +2

      Likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness-with good works
      Please note I am not trying to be mean or facetious in anyway. I am just quoting what the Christian book says to do. These ministers wives wear gold and diamonds in front of the poor congregants. I assume that is why the congregants are sycophants. Selfish greedy people will seek selfish greedy leaders.

    • @sandyjuntunen4088
      @sandyjuntunen4088 4 года назад +1

      No- it does NOT say that about women! It warns of promiscuous women. But overall God's view of women is very high. Read Proverbs 31 where it describes a virtuous woman.
      The first person to carry the gospel was a woman- Mary, who Jesus appeared to in the garden after His resurrection. He was very good friends with Mary Martha and their brother Lazarus and stayed with them in their home.
      And no- it doesn't say not to fix your hair! It says true beauty is inward, and comes from virtue, not from outward adornments.
      It doesn't say makeup is bad.
      That old rule came from one verse in 2 Kings where Jezebel painted her face and since she was evil they said any paint was evil too. The bible shows it's evil to be vain, conceited or immodest, it does not forbid jewelry, nice clothes or makeup. In fact, a reward in heaven will be beautiful robes, crowns, and everything is made in gold, jewels, and pearls.
      Tammy Faye lived love and God up til her dying breath, and even praised God in her last TV appearance just hours before she died.
      Looking only to criticize and accuse IS something wrong. The Bible says the Devil is the accuser of the brethren.

      I was backsliding and had was on drugs and hit rock bottom. I remembered 2 songs I had heard Tammy Faye sing. I sent a request to several ministries about those 2 songs. I ask if they had recorded them and to send me a price of them. All the ministries sent me a price list with those songs on them except PTL. I haf explained my circumstance to them all. Tammy Faye sent me several albums with those 2 songs on them and a note that said No Charge. And let me know she would be praying for me. That was about 38 or 39 years ago. I've been clean from drugs and serving The Lord ever since. And besides that I've been the Pastor of a Church for 34 yeas. Tammy Faye may have stumbled. Don't we all? But she was definitely am anointed Child of God. Those songs were Mercy Rewrote My Life, and You Can Make It. I Thank God for Tammy Faye and Jim Bakker. They helped save my life. At No Charge. I don't know anyone that hasn't fallen. But they got up. They may have went their seperate ways but made it right with God and served God afterwards. Tammy Faye was an inspiration to me. When she went to be with God this world lost a woman with a giving heart. May God Bless You. I wish I had some dvd's of her singing.

    Despite all the controversy, i do believe that she was taken advantage of and was in a controlling relationship. In interviews with Jim she'd barely get a word in edgways and that's saying something because Tammy is so outgoing and chatty. Regardless, she was a beautiful soul, and had a strong faith and it was sad to see her die such a cruel, cruel death. No-one deserves that 😢

    The Eyes of Tammy movie was super interesting and certainly showed her good intentions; but let's face it Tammy was a little crazy sauce and that's why we loved her

      Hard to find on CD. Most of her recordings must have gone out of print and almost all of them are on vinyl. I don't know who owns the rights to her catalog. Perhaps her children? Her official webpage has CD versions of her recordings, but they are now unavailable for order.

    I love Tammy Faye I think she was real no nothing phony about her. Jim Bakker brought her down and it's sad!!! I just really never thought she was a good singer but she wasn't bad her daughter on the other hand was a excellent singer.

    It's such a shame that Jim didn't listen to Tammy Faye. PTL was an excellent idea, so beautifully maintained. Our troubled country could benefit from just such a place now. Had Jim listened, maybe even Tammy Faye would still be alive. I'm certain having to endure all that stress and pain is what brought on her horrible cancer. Tammy saw the wolves in sheeps clothing and warned Jim. Unfortunately, he refused to believe her. Her music and ministry still uplift me. Whenever I'm down, i pray and listen to Tammy Faye.
    Jim's new ministry and wife are so phony. Jim has turned into a snake oil salesman.

    "Christianity" may be designed around dogma. However, a majority do not speak for us all. I dont believe in a Devil or Hell, but I know in my heart there is a Higher Power. Despite the lable, many people would agree. Tammy Faye represented the BEST among us. If you dont understand that, read up, she was a contradiction of what most people think of when the word, "Christian" is invoked. She was LOVE - pure and simple. 💗
