That's really not a good look for a woman to propose to a man. I don't care how much a woman wants to be married, if the man doesn't propose that's saying something, he either doesn't want to marry you in particular or maybe he doesn't want to get married at all to any woman. It's an act of desperation for a woman to propose to a man.

I don’t think we have ever really chosen spouses correctly within wider society. Think about how many ‘failure’ marriages we have seen in older generations yet they are still together. Staying together is hardly a sign of success unfortunately. Many times the length of a relationship indicates stagnancy, fear, manipulation, abuse, trauma bonds etc.

It humanized the hell outta the dating pool 😂 which led me to revisit my standards. That led to me considering what type of mother I would be to a biracial child if I believed that white men were better. @@absolutelyridiculous6743 It doesn’t matter how you feel, the only thing that counts is what women do. Women will no longer endure unhealthy relationships.

Ladies please stop proposing to men. I was raised by a woman that proposed to a man and my dad gave my mom hell.

Yeah.. no, I’ll never propose to a man. At the end of the day, men do control marriage and not women. Yes, I can refuse a proposal, but Unless a man initiates the first step of choosing to commit and propose to me first, then I’m never getting married. I got to make sure our values align first and that I’m wifey material.

It's not like therapy is going to automatically solve all problems. 😂
