The gold special zombies you can use every round. Also if you clear a whole region you get a special zombie. Target one area and move on. Go for the cure places that have more lab bottles, they make the cure faster. You can get an uprgrade to let you have more of the biohazard drops, you can also upgrade so it shoots more than 4 balls. I hope this helps you Jack. Thank you for playing this game, it is one of my favorite game series ever.

GameTrio1UP so... you got a bunch of things wrong you should not target a specific area instead focus a bunch of areas and complete missions until you get kruger so you can destroy the more populated countries.
And the upgrades you said are not available before level 1 (to get them you need to grind a lot)
And the cure is not even researched without labs
