- Giovanni Meroni does it again with this deck inspired by the Book of Revelation from the Bible. With his trademark style intact, he takes it to the NEXT LEVEL with this stunning pair of decks. The mythology, the art, the courts, the tuck...everything comes together to form a masterpiece of a deck with a story worthy of any that has been told through his designs. So sit back...and enjoy!

I watched all the review, and it's absolutely perfect :-) Thank you very much!
Thank YOU as always for the wonderful art! Looking forward to many many more!
That's some deck! Giovanni is one of the best. Definitely, I would put that in the top 3 of TWI decks. Great story and review of this deck Tim.
The Order is #1 for you I know. What else makes the top 3??
@@TheCardGuyReviews Black Monolith, even though I don't have it yet.
Another great review. This might just be my new, favourite Giovanni deck. Eagerly awaiting delivery so I can be sure.
I have no doubt it’ll join the short list of favorites!
These are absolutely stunning! But $50 for a deck? Jeez I’m almost willing to do it
Yeah, a bit expensive for me
Definitely premium priced. But if you’re going to charge that for a deck...it should be for this one.
@@TheCardGuyReviews I might still pick it up down the road, but I am still partial to USA made decks.
The Card Guy you right you right
Awesome review man ! I’ve got both . I want to open the red one so bad but the two tuck boxes just go perfectly together in a carat case . 🔥
I’m a fan of opening decks - for sure. I say go for it! Worth it!
Wow these are amazing! The mirror finish on that gilding is crazy.
I see why you like it so much. Great symbology and apparently, given Giovanni's feedback, you nailed it!
HOLY BEAUTIFUL DECK!!! Loved the review-the story and the art. I would love to have that deck! And the next one!
Some decks are a cut above!!
Keep an eye on www.thirdwayindustries.com I am fairly sure Gio will have some for sale soon.
@@TheCardGuyReviews Agreed!
@@bradsquirrel7923 Thank you! I most definitely will! 👍
I like the lore/story behind this deck. Well thought through. And a very thorough and great review as always. Good stuff!
Glad you enjoyed...the deck AND the review! This is definitely some of Gio's best work.
Got mine and I've to say I love this deck! Great review, always look forward to your videos.
I'll keep em coming!
The soundtrack suits the deck nicely. Very breath-taking!
Intense deck...intense music!
I received mine a few days ago myself. The custom carat case is also awesome and worth adding. I know that the Wrath of God can be a bit costly, but Gio's decks are worth the cost IMHO. The regular Apocalisse deck that isn't gilded, was only $24 (I got two as an EB) each including shipping, so it wasn't bad considering the cold foil does add a bit of cost. After seeing this review, I guess I am going to have to at least crack open one of my decks.
Agreed. Worth every penny. I got one of everything the campaign had. The carat case, coin and brick box are all fabulous!
Beautiful deck! It seems fitting that is came out in 2020...
Fitting indeed!
Another amazing review Tim. I have backed the newly (completed) Kickstarter by Gio and just recently placed an order for Black Monolith that was on sale on his site. Can't wait. I missed Apocalisse however. Hopefully I can get one in the future.
I have some extras that I’d sell or trade at a good price if interested! (Also....YES on picking up Black Monolith!!)
Beautiful cards, a bit pricey. You again delivered on this review. 👍👍😊😊
Thank you!
I got in for 2 of the Apocalisse decks, I wish id upgraded to the gilded Wrath of God deck.
Not the cheapest but they make an amazing pair!
Do you have apoteosi deck too?
Soon! They ship starting in March and I have em coming!
Nice review. The music was a little loud for me, but nice work other than that
Sorry bout that! I’ll keep a lookout for that on other vids.
1:15 Factual error here. The gospels only have names because of church tradition. John wasn't written by John - authorship for ALL FOUR is completely unknown. And moreover, there's no way TO know, because we don't have a single original. All we have are copies of copies of copies of translations of copies of translations of copies of copies. None of the gospels were even written until DECADES after the alleged person referred to as Jesus had died, so the gospels werent even written by eyewitnesses. Other than this nitpick, great review!
Won't get into the detail of belief on the gospels personally, but my reference was to authorship of the book of Revelation - a book in which the author identifies himself as "John" specifically. It's more Christian tradition that pegs that specifically as John the apostle, but could have been a different John I'm sure. Certainly we can agree that authorship of books of the bible is - for a whole host of reasons - subject to interpretation and in many cases, faith.
I was not aware of this, thanks for sharing!
An important note - Apocalisse and Apoteosi are just inspired by the Book of Revelation and the Genesis.
