Great tutorial. I was able to make 3 and currently making few more for my sisters and great gift for friends as well. The measurement for the bottom piece is a bit big by more or less 1 to 11/2 cm but i was able to adjust and complete it. It's so beautiful. Thank you so much Miko for sharing your talent to us. JazakAllahKhair I have been wanting this type of bag with the folded gusset and could not figure out how to do it. Thought maybe it was binding around the edges, but no PURE genius will be making one. BarakAllahfik

@@MikoCraft that's exactly why I was watching so closely. It was easy to see you used a heavier fabric along with the interfacing. I may start with thinner fabric (exterior) to gauge what my current sewing baby will do.. LoL watching again,..
Are the measurements for the pattern correct as they are shown in the video or did you have to adjust anything? People are complaining in the comments, but I don't know if they've tried to sew one...

Thank you so much. 😊🙏🏻 Yes it’s a little bit challenging when sewing the bag’s corners. I think it can still be done with domestic machine by reducing the measurements of the interfacing on all of the outer fabrics, so it won’t be too thick at those corners 😅

Yes, just add however many inches or cm you need to make it wider, longer or deeper. Since its rectangles, it would be easy. Don't forget to add the additional height to side gussets, and width to the bottom.

Plan on using this bag for my twin boys. They aren’t born yet so I can’t say how well this bag holds up but it did come just as pictured and seems very well made.

Weirdly enough, I like your choice of color, tone and fabric BETTER than the originals. Dont get me wrong, the original bags look really good, but I like the tapestry-feel of this more. ; )
I made this bag with canvas fabric. I love the outcome. The one thing I am having a problem with is folding the lower edge of the bag. In particular the comers. It doesn’t have the sharp finished. Any suggestions? I know canvas fabric can be hard to work with but I like the look of it. Can you do a video with this same design but demonstrate an easier way to still have the same look when using thicker fabric like canvas or Jean?
I think it looks easy because i've made so many bag of this type. Hehehe... Sewing the corner is a little tricky because of the thickness of the material, if i find it hard to sew I sometimes hammered it few times, it somehow make the sewing run easier. 😊

You can modify the bag, add some pockets inside or outside. I have tutorial on how to make various zipper pocket here in my channel. 😊
