The 5 seconds at a time for chocolate is so you can mix while it heats or it can burn like it did there! Chips are always more difficult to melt down good lol these videos always make me laugh and honestly this has made me want to try out the recipe since I have the cookbook just growing a bit of dust on my bookshelf

12:37 I believe this is the reason that it said to melt the chocolate in 5 sec increments. You're meant to mix it in between to make sure it doesn't burn with each 5 seconds giving you a chance to check and make sure nothing's going wrong

I died inside when they left the chocolate in the microwave- I bake and whatnot but I've also just done simple things as a snack like covering pretzels or strawberries with chocolate, and let me tell you, they melt but they'll also cook if you don't do it in increments and stir the chocolate they will cook and burn on you and just be ruined 😭 never trust the chocolate to simply melt
It was left there so when Vanny microwaves something melted chocolate would be on the bottom

if anyone was wondering about the red kitchen at the end and what those numbers mean I'm happy to try and provide insight. the first numbers are an alphabetical code with each number going with the order the letter comes in the alphabet, 8 is H, 5 is E, 12 is L, 16 is P, 13 is M, and 5 is again E. "Help me" this goes with the shorter videos we've been seeing lately. Those last numbers 7/31, is a date July the 31st "something is coming".
In summary expect something related July the 31st. That's all I've got for now ✌😗
