Are you using Kremlin pumps and guns in the flatine? Just wondering what size tips you use for priming. Im currently using a 12-134. Just want to know what other shops are using. Nice shop btw.
3:40 Oops, and one door on the floor ^^, very nice setup you have, pretty lean, gotta work on that sanding bench as it seems the biggest chokepoint, ngl I want that cefla machine myself when I see that, good job.
Hi there, love your videos, how much hand spraying do you still need to do? Like is the setup time on the automated machines too large to do individual remakes etc?
we really only hand spray if its a small order and a custom colour. if its a stock colour we throw the respray on the line with another job. we have multiple pumps feeding the machine so we can keep stock colours always ready and have one pump always clear for a custom colour.
our quality jumped significantly when the cefla was installed. we have moved our business into a new level of quality and are making higher margins with less work. we produce made to order cabinetry, few of our customers are under such tight budgets to be forced into a lower end door finish
Congrats on the new shop. Looking really good. What’s the size of the old building vs the new building? What did you guys pay for the Prima? We are looking into a couple of brands right now. Curious on pricing and how many panels can be finished per min?
there will be a video next month walking through the new factory. but that being said the old factory was 10,000 sq/ft. new factory is 32,500 sq/ft. cefla prima was around $175 CAD plus pumps panels per minute is kind of arbitrary. what size are the panels? our current setup takes roughly 4 minutes from infeed to offload.
@@diamondcnc that’s really awesome for you guys. Growing is good most of the time, glad you guys have a new space. Looking forward to seeing it. On the finished. We’ve been looking at the superfici mini plus, they were telling us we could run 60 cabinet size panels in 15min or Less. Just curious on what the prima does. Cost of the superfici is $175 usd with 3 kremlin pumps.

for mass production i think you should dump the painting part and switch to PVC press ....... what do you think ?
