A secret agent would just take a photo of a key, then render it in a 3d cad program and 3d print it with some filament, or even CNC it out. It would take like 30 min but it would be way stealthier. The Modern Rouge did this.

too much work imo almost anyone can just use a key decoder with about 30 seconds with most keys and write down the tooth depth and file one later

2: oil based clay

so that is all you need to escape sure hope that key dosent break in the lock
It's more the concept of is mission impossible style key copying even possible under the right circumstances which they proved it is and mythbusters did an episode similar to this as well and modern rogue actually did it from a flip phone picture and 3d printed it with enough clarity to open the lock 3 or 4 times so this is more a proof of concept than how you'd actually do it cause ideally if you needed this method you'd have your material to copy it on hand and ready ie the warm clay then snatch the key for just the seconds it would take to make the impression and then return the key before they've noticed and then you have as much time as you need to fabricate the key as your situation might permit if you want a more in depth video definitely go check out the modern rogue's take on this

Probably not unless there was air inside the fruit. The freezing in liquid nitrogen would likely cause the oxygen to expel from the fruit as it froze..... I don't think the vacuum would cause it to explode.

It would be backwards. You would have to do two molds. Perhaps one in glue and leave it stuck to wood or something and put silicone in a thin layer on top and peel it off.

If you have clay and water mixed together and you take out the water then yes, you will have clay behind

Doubt you can mold finger prints with clay, but you can with glue or tape.

yeah, very cool and *helpful* especially when i am out to pick someone's key from their pocket. i just need to carry a microwaved oil clay and a bucket of ice water and some liquid gallium. and i dont think anyone will even notice.

@@canofbeans301 Its really easy to get open a masterlock. 2 hairpins or 2 paperclips could be used to make the tools needed. So yeah a toothpick probably could be used to 'rake' the lock.

Can you please do a challenge were you are going to cast like two objects each, but you are not allowed to use any of the normal ways to make a mold. Then later on when you have your casted object you will show eachother your casted objects and the other one have to guess what object you’ve casted. It would be fun to watch. Its a chemiluminescent reaction that only occours when the two substances are mixed. its a reaction, that means the chemicals will get used up and the glow dies out. So it would be pretty cool, but to fully dye clothes with it would be a hazardous nightmare thats pretty useless lol 😂

@@bdjhfilms I think his point was that when you poured It, the hot metal might melt/deform the clay making the mold rather than just assuming its proper shape. Sounds possible to me, though I wouldn't think it too likely with the relatively small amount they would need.... depending on the actual metal and its temperature as a liquid of course.

Wouldn't gallium just melt after one use? How would you manage to not destroy the lock in the process? Great concept, but I would use something A) Harder B) Cheaper C) Reusable.
Can use a breaker for tension I've made copies with thin plastic and the thin metal off a pen works great but if can be made so easy you can pick faster with minimal practicing

You do realise that a gallium key used with an aluminium lock will definitely open it if left on it for long enough. Gallium and aluminium aren’t a great combo if you open on keeping the lock in 1 piece
