You can definitely see the WE/Civivi influence in the blade shape. I thought WE might be the OEM for Ferrum Forge... and they are! Love Ferrum's pivot shape...it's unique! Looks very comfortable, especially with the large choil. Cool knife!
That pivot shape adds a lot to the sleek look of this one for sure! It's a smaller knife, but it's so lightweight and the aesthetics are just perfect! It's slim and I call it a gentlemen's knife! Thank you Cueball, and here's to a great weekend!
I really want to try a Stinger out. I just love the clean look of it. Never tried Nitro V either. I’ve heard nothing but good things about the ergonomics of Ferrum Forge. I need to get on the ball when I have some extra dough

Ordered my Stinger in beige figuring I'd dye it burgundy, but it's so purty in its natural state that I'm still enjoying it as is. Mine had an issue with the pivot screw coming loose, but nothing a little blue loctite couldn't cure. Other than that, the it's an amazing piece.
I'm all about adding some color to my collection. Like you said, there's always the option to dye it. Funny you said your pivot walked, because mine did too. I put some Loctite in it today and I'm waiting for it to dry. Interesting.... I'm going to have to ask around about that, but it's an awesome knife otherwise! Thank you Sam, I appreciate the info!

I just got mine in the mail yesterday and I’m really liking it so far. It’s my first nice knife and I’m glad I got it. Blade HQ had their exclusive version with blacked-out blade & hardware and natural G10 scales on sale for 64.99 for National Knife Day, so that’s the one I picked up. Looks like they are still at that price and in stock as of today, 9/2/22.

Everything everyone says about this knife is true. Yes they are more expensive than my usual 40-60 knife. But attention to detail and ergonomics mait worth it. Love it.
$40-$60 is a sweet spot for budget knives in my eyes. Sometimes under, sometimes over. Hitting the $80 and up club takes takes more thought and savings into consideration. It's a sweet one! Thank you Harry!

I also have the FF ''DAO and the ''BUC'' models, both from Drop/formerly Massdrop an they are both badass ,the DAO model is 1 of my most carried/ all time favorite EDC knives !

@@BeezBlades The DAO & the BUC are both in this category of fitting ALOT of blade in a small package [the handle is small and the blade isn't] if that makes any sense !
Try an get ahold of a DAO or a BUC model for yourself and you WONT be disappointed in EITHER !
If you get 1 you'll almost certainly be getting the other [they are THAT good IMO] !
Yes the aesthetics and the ergo's are AMAZING at least IMO !
I have more than a few knives in my collection that are newer than the DAO ,some more & some less expensive and I try to carry all of them in rotation but when it comes to REAL every day carry/use around my farm & on the job site I always end up with the DAO back in my pocket !

Not always the biggest fan of satin finish but it looks pretty cool when it's on the handle as well
This one has a very nice, even stonewashed blade. I know the liners are stainless but I can't tell if they are coded or what gives them that nice color that matches the blade. Maybe they're stonewashed also but it doesn't look like it.
The Stinger is one of my favorite knives. It is a perfect EDC. In fact, if I could only keep one of my knives, the Stinger would be a strong contender. It is just that good.
It really is a good EDC. Not a heavy/hard user, but that's what a beater is for right. I'm really liking this thing. Thanks Daniel!

I REALLY like the Stinger and Ferrum Forge in general.
Mine has an awesome detent, just a sharp "flick". As far as Nitro-V I've resharpened/polished my Prolix and it came out BEAUTIFULLY ‼️
