      Flamenco is an Arabic word and the music is so in tandem because both were brought by the Arabs! You find many examples of this all around Europe where early cultures derived from the same back ground. For example, Basques have a very unique blood type, found only in Ireland. Then you find that women were brought to Ireland from the Basque country and there's your unique blood type! The same why you get Nordic people in the Canary Irelands - they were early settlers originally from modern day Iran - an Aryan country and not Arabic - that travelled north to Scandinavia but also across North Africa also. Arabs brought us language and text, along with maths and early science in the known world. They also brought us this wonderful delightful music. Life has so many wonderful pleasures if you look in the right places. This music is one of the finest.

    • @khanniazi2578
      @khanniazi2578 9 лет назад

      Dani Osvaldo first , do you know what arab means? and who is really arab? arabs are yemeni, saudia arabia (hijaz) half arab island, all other are just arabic speaking people, from jordan till marocco. arabs were rulers and brought arabic in these countries. tell me which culture had north africans before islam came?
      iran has old history and culture, pakistan ( bild al sind ) and india (hind) have long hstory and culture.
      your andalusia has 80% things from Sindh (rajhistan desert)
      i tell you some history which is remove from so called "arabs" from history book cause there arrogance.
      75 hijri ( 700 AD) mohammad bin qasim alsaqafi (nepfew of hajaj bin yusuf) took over sindh ( today from karachi till kashmir) and multan was capital of this area for khilafa, many artist (who learned from hindus stone work of tempels) which is used in your alhambra palace, same design on stone which you can search and find on google " Makli graveyard".
      Gita (in hindi song or words) tar (wire) gitar, same like instrument sitar (si = 3, tar = wire)
      gitanos are from this desert area and went with muslims to spain.
      yes andalusia has muslim culture, but not arab culture, because which north africans you call arabs, are not arabs

      First Sufi was from Baghdad, the Junaid baghdadiaround 800 AD. who started sufiism, read some history. north africans were living in sand and islam gave them some manners and culture.
      yes may be they freed us or may be my forfathers were hindu, but it is shame for some one if his ancestors were not muslims? we are talking here about culture and music, if you hae any avidance then give here. now don,t say alhambra was also build my moroccon people :D
