The moment when Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tuni and Tomatito are having their own music conversation is absolutely delightful. A dramaturgy in Sheikh's voice and discreet musical background created by Tomatito's soft improvisation are a crown jewel of this scene. 💎👌🏻
I am Turkish. But I feel part of me is from Andalusia. Ibn Arabi brought this spirit to Anatolia. And I remembered this spirit with a Spanish girl. “Love is my religion.” Thank you B. 🤍
An incredible opening scene. The voice of the old woman in the final is also magnificent. It makes you feel like going to Andalusia. I went because of this movie. I haven't traveled all over the world, but Andalusia is definitely as fascinating as the music in this movie.
Really ? , For 800 years We suffered hordes after hordes, millions of Muslim Invaders ready to annihilate the whole Christian Culture in Europe, _it's only by a miracle of God's Will that we prevailed_

It's a portait of a tradition from the Al Andalus state (the muslim era) where 3 big cultures coexisted and mixed together : Jews, Christians or mozarabs and Muslims.
One of the most incredible openings for describing the soul of Andalucia. Without a word the music described bravo
How come you didn't hear arabic words

I'm Tunisian i speak arabic, the lyrics aren't religious though
He's speaking about the glass of wine, how he speaks his emotions to it, and he sang a song and she started singing as well...

the whole movie is clear, but I don't understand this opening scene. Is it Hindu culture? and what is the connection ... with flamenco ?
