Only 70 titles have been announced from what I can see. There are 5 more not announced yet. I have preordered a couple of titles. Anyhow I like your video on this subject.
I forgot to mention it in the video I did mention in my previous video that Atlantic had announced there could be up to 90 titles produced by analog productions for the 75th anniversary Chad said he's in negotiations with a number of folks for the rights to do some of the other records. you never know what could be coming down the pipe. maybe something good 👍 thanks so much for your commentary and liking the video much appreciated.
Well right off the bat I pre ordered all the Yes and Genesis reissues. Did not even think twice about it. The rest will be be bonuses as they are released. Foxtrot is my favorite Genesis album so that is a must for me. But I want them all : )
I think I pre-ordered seven of them once I got to realize that you don't have to pay up front they're just going to be deducted from your card as they are shipped so it makes it real affordable. I need to be careful because affordable means buy more!! wow wow down Ron 🔥❤️😎
A cool concept. Given the tens of thousands of great records ATLANTIC produced over the last 5 or 6 decades Chad had a tough decision in picking. I must have 75 percent of them as OGs. Didn't subscribe but will pick a few...thanks and keep rockN
Yes I agree for me a subscription not in my budget number one number two there's a bunch of records that I don't have and I'm not that keen on getting but yeah there are some in there very tasty.
Here's something I need to probably talk about more when you pre-order and your account is only charged when they're shipped they'll be shipped over the next 3 years so I can probably afford more records than I thought at the beginning 😊 at this point I'm pre-ordering seven
I am looking forward to some of these 45 RPM titles and I am starting with Face Value on Oct 6th, as I am sure it will crush my Canadian 1st pressing. I think I pre-ordered about 16 titles, most of those through a Canadian site near Ottawa. I have a mix of Vinyl and SACD and it looks like a great series. Cheers
@@RocknRonni With regards to Yes Fragile, I have the Mofi One-Step as well, so I cannot imagine buying this again on 45 RPM, unless I was seeking to sell the Mofi. It will be splitting hairs for sure, but I did order 2 Yes titles. Cheers
@@LifelongMusicJunkie You're absolutely correct The only reason I'm buying it is so I can make a video because that mofi really does sound great. but it would be interesting to see what the differences are. I'm assuming analog productions is going to be using the master tape where mofi used DSD. Also as I said in the video I have the 2 LP 45 RPM Friday music version of the Yes album and that sounds really good as well. These are going to be $60 records if they were trying to pull that $150 a record deal I wouldn't get any of them I'd be happy. It would be very interesting to know the process analog productions is going to use because when Bernie Grumman remastered these back in the day he remastered them both at 33 and 45 so is Chad just going to use the 45 plates that he already has or is it going to be a new remastered either way it's going to sound better than my 33. Exciting to finally get some audiophile records that are not jazz for a change.
This will keep us busy for a while huh Ron?😁 I look forward to these titles, especially the 2 from S.T.P. an old favorite of mine I didn't expect to see on the list.i bet Burnin' Sky will be mind-blowing also..when you get the chance Ron, would you take your camera over and get an overhead shot of your turntable? I'm just curious to see it up close.manythnx!
I have a few other room tour videos where I show the turntable from the top I asked my son about the video he said he could only watch about the first 2 minutes because of all the noise so I'm thinking I might redo the video get some different camera angles not include noise what do you think? Let me know

@@williamtaylor5193 okay Bill I hear where you're coming from my friend. I also have pre-ordered the first three yes albums The two Stone Temple pilot records deja vu and selling England by the pound. Evaluating a couple of the other ones to see if I want to get them. And I agree with you this is the problem with the 45 RPM format when you get one-sided songs. Chad better make it worth our while these better blow our socks off or he's going to be in big trouble. 👍❤️
Anyone know if these are limited pressings? Just wondering for the titles I’m interested in will they be available for a while or will they sell out fairly quickly?
All we know is AP is going to make 2000 at the beginning that are going to be numbered. If there are titles you desire it's best to pre-order them You're not billed until they ship sometime within the next 3-year period, and you secure your title.
Analogue Productions/Acoustic Sounds may provide great customer service for faulty items in the US. But for EU orders their customer service is subpar. Extortionate shipping prices, and if there is an issue, you need to spend an additional $50 to get a replacement. Shame because most of their records are excellent.
Yeah I was thinking about that before I made the video. I forgot to mention that this is a good value if you live in the United States only. The records are very expensive in Canada and Europe, it's a crying shame. The shipping is so exorbitant and the markup on the record that's crazy because for me $60 that's about all I want to spend for a record. if something wrong with the record and it's not my fault I don't want to pay return shipping. this is why I don't buy records most of the time out of the UK on eBay and such because if something's wrong with the record. I have to pay return shipping 😢
Yeah that one's kind of pricey isn't it, but if you love the record and you want the best. And that's a record I don't remember every getting the audiophile treatment before. Thanks for watching and leaving commentary most appreciated. 😊
I thought about just subscribing to the whole set but I've reached the age where I just don't do much serious listening anymore. I've also lost my hearing of anything over about 7500 Hz.
Yeah there's definitely a lot of records in the bunch that I have no need of. we already have a lot of records we're not listening too. no sense paying $60 a piece for records we are not going to listen too. thanks Richard for watching the video my friend always appreciate your comments.
Well this was the format available because Atlantic is going to make the 33 RPM records so The 45 are going to be superior sounding and I buy records because they sound better than digital. so if it means I have to flip the record over a couple more times to get the superior sound and get that a thrill ride that records can deliver that will be fine for me. I hope they are truly sensational I have ordered some and will be doing videos of comparisons.
I forgot to mention this. I did mention it in my previous video Atlantic has stated there might be up to 90 titles for the 75th anniversary Also Chad stated he's currently negotiating with several other artists, so we still have hope. thank you so much for your commentary! much appreciated, and thanks for liking the video. Yeah like I said at 60 bucks a crack they add up real fast. For me I have to be very selective in what I'm going to purchase but I think they don't charge you all at once up front I think The charge is only applied when they ship. they're going to be shipped out over a 3-year period so that might make it affordable for me. Thank you so much for watching and leaving good comments most appreciated and thanks for liking the video. 👍
We're very lucky to be able to get some of these titles and the audiophile format. kind of wondered why Chad was doing the 2LP 45 RPM versions. it seems that Atlantic is going to reissue all their records at 33 themselves leaving the 45 rpm versions for Chad. Thanks so much for your great commentary and liking the video much appreciated ❤️
God, you should work for Chad you’re doing a great commercial!! I wouldn’t be so sure about how great they are all going to sound until I heard them!! Most Atlantic records sound good if you have a copy so you don’t really need this if you have it already
I am always amazed at how much better Chad's records sound. As I demonstrated by talking about various records that I draw my conclusions from. Could I be wrong about? oh I most definitely could be, but I'm betting on acoustic sounds. They make the best records in the world. I don't think I'm going out on the limb that far. We all know the formula if you can get the OG tape get Kevin Gray to remaster it, get it plated and pressed by QRP or RTI it's going to be a great record I have never found an exception. But of course I don't buy everything they make, but I don't hear folks complaining. Thank you very much for your commentary most appreciated because you are correct. But I have faith in The folks at QRP.
You are correct especially the original tapes that Page controls That's why I suggested maybe we could use the tapes that Atlantic has in their vault. if we could do a hot mix like an RL mix maybe that's possible if Chad did the two LP 45 RPM same deal he has with Atlantic. Atlantic's doing them all at 33 RPM That's why Chad's doing 45. but we still have to get Jimmy's permission 😢 but hey write him a check. he likes money, you never know. This might be something nobody else has thought about but I doubt if it's just me thinking like this I hope they are we need to try to explore every possibility. Very few people can afford the OG UK or the classic record stuff.
if you think one record sounds better than the other then you're headed in the right direction. analog productions makes such superior sounding records you may want to seek out something over at acoustic sounds that's the website where you can buy the analog productions records. I have some other videos up where I talk about different records that they have made where I do comparison videos analog productions always wins, there's so much better. Thanks again for your commentary most appreciated.
In the US, Charisma licensed their stuff to Atlantic. This is why you don't see any AC/DC records released in this serie - as Sony/Colombia owns the rights these days.
country of origin where are the record was produced and recorded but I don't have enough context to know what you're talking about as a general rule of thumb the original press from the country of origin is the superior version. but it is a general rule.
It is also one of my favorite records. I enjoy the beauty of the sound of the record and all the little details in the sound. That's why I like the reissues that concentrate on fidelity rather than just the substance of the great music. I understand I'm in the minority most folks aren't like me. If this is one of your favorite records you may want to consider the extra cost to get an extraordinary remastered edition in it's absolute best sounding form. It makes the record so much more enjoyable for me and many others, and you might understand why we are willing to repurchase these records. Thank you so much for subscribing and liking the video much appreciated.
Yeah a lot of the titles folks we already have the records but there might be that one special most love record that we just have to have the ultimate version of. Thanks so much for watching leaving some great commentary and liking the video. ❤️

@@RocknRonni thank you Ron. I think I'll also pre-order Yes, Genesis and Phil. Ouf! Lots of amazing AP repress. Better plan a big budget.
Looking forward to many of the them but as you said at 60 a piece I can only get about 5
Here's something I need to probably talk about more when you pre-order and your account is only charged when they're shipped they'll be shipped over the next 3 years so I can probably afford more records than I thought at the beginning 😊 at this point I'm pre-ordering seven
@@RocknRonni any idea when they will post release dates. I would hate ordering something to find out it will be 2 years of a wait
@@RocknRonni I have 8 I want for sure
@@RocknRonni will they eventually put out a list of releases dates
@@douglasdunn4809 I'm not sure about release dates yet they need to get that done that's for sure
Cheers
16 wow that's quite a few good luck I'm sure you'll love them all 👍
@@RocknRonni With regards to Yes Fragile, I have the Mofi One-Step as well, so I cannot imagine buying this again on 45 RPM, unless I was seeking to sell the Mofi.
Let me know
Hi Ron. How are they going to turn "Close to the Edge" into a double LP when there's only three songs on the album?
Hello thanks so much for watching Chad could only get the rights to making the two LP 45 RPM and I know they're going to sound great, can't wait to get mine.
I'll leave the details up to them. Thanks so much for your insightful comments, much appreciated. 😊
this is going to be a major hit to my deteriorating bank accounts methinks.
The problem with double 45's is breaking up tracks like Close to the Edge and Supper's Ready.
I have no interest in a single album on 2LP 45 RPM.
@@vinylrichie007 thanks for watching Mr Richie this is not a video for you what are you doing here this is about 2 LP at 45 RPM the whole 75th anniversary 75 records of glorious audiophile bliss Brew who hahaha. That's my evil laugh.
Yes one has to suffer for pure audiophile bliss. I hear if you listen to the CD it doesn't break any of the songs up and you don't even have to flip it over it's fantastic. Just saying my friend That's not a deal breaker for me.
if I want the record bad enough it's all good. but a lot of people are in your arena. thanks again for watching appreciate it so much and leaving great feedback.
@@RocknRonni Thanks Ron. I enjoyed your video. I must confess that I have the Yes Album, Fragile, Trick of the Tail, The Lamb, and Selling England on order, so I certainly appreciate the 45rpm concept. Eventually, I'll probably buckle and get the others!! Best, Bill
Always looking for a better copy of The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, Ron. A 4 lp set it is then!!!
Yeah that one's kind of pricey isn't it, but if you love the record and you want the best. And that's a record I don't remember every getting the audiophile treatment before. Thanks for watching and leaving commentary most appreciated. 😊
I have a Classic Records LLD and that's pretty good. 2 LPs is enough really.
I thought about just subscribing to the whole set but I've reached the age where I just don't do much serious listening anymore. I've also lost my hearing of anything over about 7500 Hz.
Do you still get the thrill of hi-fi out of a good record?
Sure@@TheGooch7128
Yeah there's definitely a lot of records in the bunch that I have no need of.
we already have a lot of records we're not listening too. no sense paying $60 a piece for records we are not going to listen too. thanks Richard for watching the video my friend always appreciate your comments.
am i going to buy the butchered in half close to the edge at 45rpm? you bet your sweet bippy... 😁
Thanks bro Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching
🍷
Cheers bro 👍
Don’t love the 45rpm format frankly. Nevertheless, I will definitely pick as many of these as possible.
@@RocknRonni I’m sure they will be worth it. Didn’t know Atlantic will issue the same titles on 33 1/3. Will they also be AAA? Doubt it of course.
No Aretha Franklin. No R&B Titles. They missed the boat if they didn't do any.

@@RocknRonni anytime.
Sounds great. Hope I can afford them 😂
Yeah like I said at 60 bucks a crack they add up real fast.
All the Genesis LPs will be the remixes
Absolutely not.
Atlantic Records before
Motown and Stax.
45RPM
No way is Page going to allow another LZ reissue while his own remasters are still in print.
I liked the Chrysalis editions more than Atlantic pressings , sounded better ...
if you think one record sounds better than the other then you're headed in the right direction.
analog productions makes such superior sounding records you may want to seek out something over at acoustic sounds
that's the website where you can buy the analog productions records.
I have some other videos up where I talk about different records that they have made where I do comparison videos analog productions always wins, there's so much better. Thanks again for your commentary most appreciated.
Genesis = Charisma Records etc (Virgin) - not Atlantic originals
You are correct there must obviously be some kind of connection to Warner Electra Atlantic group 👍
In the US, Charisma licensed their stuff to Atlantic.
This is why you don't see any AC/DC records released in this serie - as Sony/Colombia owns the rights these days.
It's called country of origin
country of origin where are the record was produced and recorded but I don't have enough context to know what you're talking about as a general rule of thumb the original press from the country of origin is the superior version. but it is a general rule.
Selling ..........this is also one of my favoured reords ...I won't buy a reedition ....
Another money grabber from Chad
Got to pay the light bill lol
I'll save my money and buy one.
Yeah a lot of the titles folks we already have the records but there might be that one special most love record that we just have to have the ultimate version of.
Thanks so much for watching leaving some great commentary and liking the video. ❤️
