Another tip about making glissando strums sound real is to make highest note land on the beat. It’s easy to do this in Bitwig while keeping the midi clip in the same spot by using the time shift device and pulling knob back by about 30 milliseconds. Real guitar players make long string end on the beat. It sounds fake when the strum starts on the beat.
Thanks for the great lesson. One thing I struggle with is that on a guitar you can play the exact same pitch on two different strings at the same time (like when you are tuning). But doing this in a virtual guitar is sometimes impossible or really cumbersome with using multiple keyswitches to “force string” to sound the same note on different strings. Do you have any hints?
THANKS FR ALL YOUR HELP. I WAS BOOKMARKING VIDS FOR MY JAMSTIK STUDIO AND MY NEXT STEP IS GETTING THE AMPLE GUITAR M2 BACK AFTER MY PC CRASH I HAVE TO REINSTALL EVERYTHING. THANK YOU FOR THE LINKS.
Thanks so much for the feedback! Everything you mentioned is the goal for each video. I try to make things as essential and hopefully, inspiring as possible. Thanks for the sub!

Such a good tip! Can’t believe I missed that. Time Shift device for the win. Thanks!

This is something I’d be interested in too. I’ve not worked out how to do it.
