- The capital of the Guinness beer, Dublin is also known as "The Fair City". Founded as a Viking settlement in the 9th century, "The Norse Kingdom of Dublin" is boasting today with an impressive literature, cultural and musical history, one that includes James Joyce and Oscar Wilde and a sacred manuscript that is considered the National Treasure of Ireland, "The Book of Kells".
It is a very vibrant city, with the youngest population in all of Europe and one that managed to retain an artistic, high spirited energy. It is because of this and because of other cultural, educational and humanitarian events, that this city received the title of a global city by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network , ranking among the top 30 cities in the world.

this video is quite poor. If you know Dublin you will realise they basically filmed the same few streets over and over again. The tourist streets around temple bar that people who live in Dublin mostly avoid. Also, the music is terrible.

The city is only a small part of what makes Dublin. Its the amazing, funny, lighthearted, quick witted and friendly people. They don't take themselves too seriously. It's the 'craic'

Its incredible how ireland has changed since the 90s. From one of the most Conservative countries in the world to one of the most modern. Our decision to cast aside religion and focus on out society and economy truly has transformed our nation in just 20 years.

I can't believe that I was there last year with my students. Every teacher and student was happy there. Hard to prepare for the trip, but very proud and one of the most beautiful memory in my life....

Axon Martin most of the time. Most tourists come here during the summer for two weeks and wouldn’t even get a sunny day. Cloudy but mild temperature is the best you’ll get. A hot, sunny day in Ireland is rare but very enjoyable

My son will soon know the destination of his last school trip before the exams. He had to choose between the English coast, Berlin, Prague and Dublin. He is desperate to go to Dublin. Fingers crossed. The city somehow reminds me of my hometown Düsseldorf.

A video like this needs to include Trinity College, more of the city parks, Merrion Square, O'Connell street, Leinster house, government buildings, Rathmines, dalkey and temple bar on a weekend night etc. You guys are incredible and make the most stunning videos

Amazing videos but as a student of Trinity I must point out that you must have included some shots of Trinity College because it is one of the most iconic and historic place of the city. It is also considered the very center of the city.
It is beautiful, I was almost going to study there but ended up going with UCD. The campus in trinity is unlike anything else, it’s seriously so impressive!

Protip for tourists: go outside Dublin to wicklow mountains, peaceful and great area. Or stroll trough the biggest city-park in Europe(no shots of that in this video). Or visit the town of howth, take the train there(short and beautiful ride) and hike the cliffs, finish with some fish and chips maybe :)

Some friends and I planned to go to Sevilla, in the next year. After watching this video I'll push for going to Dublin: people who went there always told it is beautiful but the way they told didn't have the same impact of what you showed us with your images. Great work.

It's true..Dublin is a young and vibrant city, there are many attractions if you want to visit them, but also a lot of social places where you can have a good time :) well, you saw yourself..the images speak for themselves :) Hope you'll convince your friends to go there and we hope you'll have a great experience there!
Can you imagine that? My wife, our daughter, our Sean, and myself spent three days in Dublin. will look forward to going back in 2020! Might even look into family genealogy. It is truly a very beautiful country, and the people were magnificent! Although there is no more beautiful place to be in the summer time then that of anchorage Alaska USA baby!

In a way, it is both! It can be dark and dank on a rainy Monday in February, for example, but it is also a lively, pretty, human-sized city where a high quality of life is possible.
