Had one of those when you could get the gun, holster, lanyard and cleaning rod all excellent for $99.00. Horrible DA due to gas seal but was an interesting gun. Used it when fishing. Probably should have kept it for the history. Mine was I THINK 1940 BUT MAYBE LATER.
I guess I got lucky, mine works great with Military and civilian ammunition. I reload using copper plated .32 S&W 100gr bullets sized down to .308. Oh, by the way, it's only Nagant, not Mosin-Nagant. Just sayin'.
@kdoggoutdoors Mine look like factory too. Even the crimp. I size and use the .32 bullets because I buy them by the 1000s, and I have several thousand on hand, plus I have molds to produce bullets too. I have several thousand PPU cases, so I'm good for a while.

I find the surplus cases stick in both my 1895's. PPU comes right out.

Grafs has the correct sized projectiles and brass. I reload and even do the bullet recess and crimp
