She has produced some of the best Chopin interpretations I've ever heard! Every video I watch, I am thoroughly impressed. Just as I believe Chopin would have played them. Excellent!!!!

She makes the piano tell a story. Her musicality and ability to unify the concepts creates a spellbinding performance. One of the greatest pianists to ever perform, she presents the music in all it’s totality with a sonorous respect for the intentions of the composer. Her genius at presenting melody is miraculous.

Why? Yulianna Avdeeva was a lot better.
Plus, her version of the third movement of this sonata (funeral march) did not give a good reason to go to heaven. If you hear Yulianna Avdeeva’s version, you could easily tell why. I am unable to see why you think Irene should have won instead of Yulianna.
@@maxgodtankspubg3089 Both were absolutely wonderful. A treasure in a Chopin competition. But yes, Yuliannna was better.

ma ognuno adatta la diteggiatura a modo proprio... scrivere questo di fronte ad un'esecuzione magnifica è totalmente insensato.

Well, I agree that this is not the best interpretation of the sonata, but it is not the worst either. It's much better than what I would play on the best of my days.
