You can create an adaptive family with more adaptive points. But for the best result, you can use model in place mass, place a spline through points with Follow Surface check, then create a form from that, I will do a quick video about this.
Thank you for your feedback. It would be a good idea is it is not adaptive family. However, I prefer to stay away from those reference planes if all my lines and forms are based on the adaptive point, because I do not want to accidentally place elements onto those reference planes.
oh, @@BINHE615 thank you for your reply... about the bending constraint, it means that this adaptive family can only be allowed to be bent at a radius that is 10 times its diameter (for example). is it possible?
Yes, you can have a reporting parameter in the segment family, and schedule this parameter in the project and calculate the sum. This reporting parameter needs to be a shared parameter. Here is the example: drive.google.com/file/d/1FaD8_oeUlbHnNy6JC6s8nesi6j1lksl5/view?usp=drive_link
Sorry mate, I didn’t save it. Try to follow this video an make it yourself. It’s very straightforward. If you still can’t build it yourself after a try, let me know and I’ll do another one.
the constant clicking from mouse selection is rather annoying, we can see where you click as its highlighted on the screen, consider switching it off next time
awesome !
Great tutorial, thanks a lot. I m goin to use it for led strip. Do you know a way to make it follow a surface? Like a wavy roof? Thanks

Should you draw it to the centerline of an adaptive template at the beginning.

Thanks for a tutorial.
hi ^^ nice video... just want to ask.. is it possible to create the same family, but with bending constraints? thank you
Can you explain what bending constraint is?

@@vrbaac1641 Did you find a solution? I am also looking for a way to create a family adaptative for high-voltage cables in Revit
Hi , is it possible get the length after loading it to a revit family ?

I need help modeling rope! Can you help please? :(
My first thought was 'why?' After that, I thought, 'why not?' It's actually very simple; it will take about 3 minutes.
Thanks u sirr... can u create tutorial cable tendon in girder bridge?
I'm not sure what they are... Are they something like the rebar? Are they structural stuff?
Nys vedio
hey bro can you provide me the family of your parametric structure

@@BINHE615 Thanks . yeah I can do by myself but sometimes it is easier to have access of file
@@brajeshverma7531 No worries, I'll remember to save my files next time. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!!!

Thank you for the feedback, I will consider this.
