Me and my bunch of friends from Azerbaijan will gladly vote for this performance. I don't remember anyone in the entire Eurovision history to have such an impressive stage presence. It's like Hercules came down to earth to greet the mortals. The song, the voice, emotion are perfectly delivered onto the stage - all in all performance is a masterpiece. But the thing that I don't understand is why is that given such a low chance to win ? why should this song end up in 20th in the Odds ? Doesn't it at least deserve to rank higher than Finland's "cha, cha, cha", Ukrain's "tvorchi" or Norway's "queen of kings" ? It does surely. It's like there's a glass ceiling for some countries - they couldn't get to top even if they catch a lighting in a bottle and some other countries make it without even moving their fingers.
i dont know about the glass ceiling for some countries. im sure that if he went on stage dressed in drag and screaming his lungs out he would have gotten a higher rank. sad. he should have won.
i can't agree with you more.....some countries are taking votes with not doing something special..... if this song was performed by a north country it would be at top 3 at least..... in eurovision we see always the same countries...thats why i dont see it anymore

Same. It was an instant top 10 song for me personally, but I had it around 6th or 7th. Now, it keeps climbing and climbing. At this point, I just wonder if I should give my 12 points (so basically the majority of my votes) to Croatia or to Cyprus. Maybe I'll do a 50:50 split (10 votes each). I like Finland, Albania and Lithuania a lot as well, even Switzerland and Estonia. But Cyprus and Croatia are so far ahead that I might focus my votes on them. Splitting 20 votes between 7 countries doesn't work for me.

Cyprus deserves a good spot among the winners! I love this song! He also brings the vibe of the songs we used to hear back in 2015-18 and it kind of brings a wave of nostalgia to me! He should definitely win he is very talented

Cyprus deserves a good spot among the winners! I love this song! He also brings the vibe of the songs we used to hear back in 2015-18 and it kind of brings a wave of nostalgia to me! He should definitely win he is very talented
