So true at times (video title), but it looks like a real nice day on the lake. I'm going to mount a Garmin Striker4, about the size of your unit, on my kayak. I'm not sure to mount it up front like yours where its more out of the way but farther to reach, or on the kayak side mounting track closer to me. Any thoughts on the location, pro's/con's?
@ron 1986 It can be a pain in the butt to reach to change the settings, but when I installed mine I still was just paddling and I didn’t want it to be in the way as I paddled. I wanted to change it when I put the motor on it, but now that I have my stand up system I like it where it’s at. I am able to see it still while standing when I wouldn’t be able to with the side mount. If you have a motor or pedal drive and don’t plan on standing, I would put it on the side mount.

Put it within reach...you'll want to mess with settings a lot..
