Hey brother same here. I am finding I catch a lot of rainbows out there and some smallies as well (but this is near the dam) I am looking for my first tiger trout someday hopefully... got any tips for me? ✌
@@jbreezy93. I always fish about 100' off the dam. I"ve found the tigers are really deep near the bottom. According to my 50' anchor rope it has to be 30-40' deep. We just use a #6 hook with a nightcrawler. We run a split shot weight about 18" up the line.
You should come to casa grande, we have a small pond that's pretty big. It holds a good decent amount of bass, I catch mainly over 3 pounders. It's called "villago lake" casa grande, arizona
Is Villago private for people that live in the neighborhood or public fishing is allowed? We live in Az city but usually go all the way to the big lakes or up north to the forest lakes. Thanks.
@@zealousoutdoors it's open to the public.. catch and release only, there Is Carp, catfish, largemouth bass and small mouth bass. Also bluegill for the kids.
Amen to everything you brought out hit the nail on the head, good to see drop shot work on trout and it looks enticing awesome lake. Thnxs for video
I've spent the last 4 weekends on Willow with the kayak. I've averaged almost a dozen trout a day, mostly tigers. Such a blast to fish there.

Caught my first tiger @ Willow on a worm, dropshot combo by accident. Tied up in the trees eating lunch.
Usually catch most of my trout trolling Crichoppers.
