Im assuming that, as the detective didn't ask questions after this POS requests a lawyer, the appointed council either didn't pursue the issue or had the court order anything said after his request deemed inadmissible. The detective definitely needs to work on questioning techniques, as one day soon the attorneys they come up against won't be court appointed & will wipe the floor with them & an offender will walk!! When he asked for the lawyer, the male detective should have told herto stop, she is messing up the entire case. She needs to get in trouble and whoever trained her. Yikes

I’ve seen a lot of interrogations and this was by far the worst. Why so worried about him cutting the grass, repeating the same thing OVER and OVER again and he asked for an attorney and still talking to him.
My god those poor frightened children. How heartbreaking.
Hopefully they were sleeping when they were taken by the smoke. 🙏 🪦 RIP
@@bigal2417I’m really hoping that’s what happened to them….they went to sleep & didn’t hear or see anything but ended up in the arms of their mother ❤
@@bigal2417they were still tucked in bed so they didn't even know
😢 Hopefully they suffered no pain...
The righteous indignation of a cold blooded murderer. The idiocy of an unqualified cop.
He states he wants a lawyer and the female detective keeps talking.
It's horrible what he did No Doubt!
Yes, they maybe continue tying to trick you, but you just can’t answer and repite over and over I want a lawyer.
He wanted a lawyer, but kept talking only a fool does that and in this case, I’m glad this fool told on himself an got time!
@LaNayHarold Thank you for your reply! He is where he needs to be for SURE!
She didn't ask questions about murder. She expressed her feelings and her misunderstanding
@@SavingMsBlack yes he did say he wanted a lawyer and kept talking and asking the detective question thank you for that
I believe this monster thought killing his son with his mother would exclude him as a suspect, thinking if my son dies also no one would ever think I'm capable of doing something so horrendous. Sick MF hope all four of those beautiful souls haunt him everyday.
I don't know how the detectives got by with this interrogation. I certainly hope they didn't try to use it in court. He specifically asked for an attorney, yet she kept talking. They are supposed to walk away and not say another word. She promised him several times a phone call, then the male detective gets upset because he asked for a lawyer and tells him that he can't make the call. Absolutely unprofessional. I hope they lost their jobs or at least got suspended with further education. That was a horrible interrogation.
He asked for his lawyer and they continued to interrogate him. That could have cost them the case
No he serving 4 life sentences. Because he’s broke, he can’t even pay a cellphone bill. If he has money, they would have stopped, because they know they would have been shredded for this by a great lawyer.
They never ask him another question.
@@lukesmith3618that's not the point she got lucky if the defense attorney was evil and psychopathic enough and chose to request a dismissal cause she kept talking the whole case would have fallen apart and the old evidence would be useless in a retrial
@@debbiescott6884 the interview has to stop.
@@RueSaincric trump university criminal justice campus 🙃
This guy is a monster and guilty BUT, very unprofessional of this cop to continue asking Qs after he asks for a lawyer. Puts the whole case in jeopardy.
That detective is not smart. She'll be lucky if a judge doesn't throw the entire conversation out.
I split my time between my mom and grandmother that’s all you need to know about this guy
Evidently, the mother of his child knew that as well.
Emotionally immature man child
Example of reason why the Death penalty needs to be reinstituted in most states!

The gripping "Lawn Maintenance" line of questioning really paid off in the end. Brilliant interrogation skills.

What a monster he should have gotten the same fate he gave his family 😢
He asked for a lawyer ten times, but she still trying to get him to talk. She breaking the law ain't she?
Nah he decided to talk he had the right to remain silent but he choose to speak
*With all respect to all officers and detectives, this lady detective almost blew this investigation. Once he said I need to talk to a lawyer they should have stopped.*
36:02 Trying to say he couldn't have possibly done it cause he was cheating on her and had multiple other females 😅 What a joke, what a liar!!! Nothing but a bum and no wonder she was moving on!
They should do to him what he did to his victims
I hope that he gets the true justice that he deserves in prison for Killing 2 innocent little baby's.
Does your grandma know that your a cold-blooded killer?!
Prayers for the families and the victims
Evil in disguise as a human. Heart wrenching what it did ! Smh
Monster or not, he has a legal right to ask for an attorney and no one listens ...
sadly he has rights
😢 THAT'S THE PROBLEM QUIT GIVING MONSTERS RIGHTS ....
The fact that y’all are even bringing up this demons rights it’s disgusting. Eff his rights at this point . What’s wrong with y’all? All i see in the comments is his right this and the detective is wrong that. Shut up the victims are the deceased not this devil and his rights.

Just your average low impulse-control hood-rat.
I got great satisfaction when seeing he realised his life was over.
Grown man asking for his Grandmother after killing all these people.
Why are they continuing to talk to him after he asked for a lawyer?
Imagine how hard it is for this detective to have care and concern for this "man". 💙💙
Idk why ppl like you are always so baffled that detectives are literally doing their job they were trained to do...
@@somnuswaltz5586 I don't believe I used the word baffled in my comment. 🙄
They are there to do one thing and it’s get a confession or statement not get emotionally involved which I’m sure happens often but is only detrimental to a good investigator.
@@MCathystop being so naive their job is to just get a confession they are being recorded they can't rough up victims and play bad cop like they used to back in the day and in the movies so they need to fake what they really feel 😂
@@denny414 My comment seems to have triggered some people. My statement was about the "man" and how horrific his alleged crime. My point was the difficulty that must be to keep from calling them the animals they are!!
His lawyer will probably get anything said after he asked to talk to a lawyer thrown out.
Ya... but luckily he didn't say anything important after asking for an attorney... that detective was walking a fine line and taking a big risk... it's the "fruit from the poisonous tree" doctrine...
You wouldn't think, as a mother, that you would be raising SOMETHING, that would be capable of doing the heinous things some people do.
He probably never helped her with the kids, so taking them with him was out of the question -that responsibility he could not and would not accept, no matter if they were his children.
Isn't this how people get off on technicalities? Ask for a lawyer, you should get a lawyer..Period.
The saddest part is that this is my ex’s sister , he always told me about what happened but listening to this interrogation makes it hit home in a different way. Rip my love 😢

This is amazing, dude is a monster, but with that said, the officer shouldn't have been allowed to say anything else, about the case, when he requested a lawyer.. Law and Crime, is that right or not?
Your right I noticed it too🤔but we both know the answer just like it confirmed plz ya think they be more careful not to mess it up go by the book and not get off on some technicality😮
I noticed that as well. This man is the worst of the worst, but once he invoked his right to an attorney, the interrogation should have stopped.
@@mariaslavinski1588
Yes he did ask for a lawyer, however the detectives never asked him another question. They stated there case and showed him some evidence. No questions asked
Actually, they did, i.e. "Why didn't you take them (kids) with you..." IAW the Miranda Warning, the interrogation should have stopped once he invoked that right.

I don’t think he killed them..go to 27:35 where Kira sent him a text message
I always thought that once you requested a lawyer the interview is over. Or is that up to law enforcement which laws they follow.
I was just hoping to find a new interrogation and here we are. RIP to her and her children. I hope he sees those children's faces everytime he closes his eyes. That man is evil. After 5 minutes, I realized I have seen this one already.

He asked for a lawyer over and over and over. I guess that doesn’t matter. The female detective doesn’t care at all.
Omg. This is so sad. This is a death penalty case right here... prayers to the family

This interview was particularly painful.
I was getting so aggravated at this conversation lol
i listened for 10 mins and was thinking about smashing my phone. then i came to the comments to see whaf other people might think and pleasantly, everyone else feels the same. just terrible
When the detectives are so bad the killer looks decent for 41 minutes
This is disgusting rip to the kids and mom
Im assuming that, as the detective didn't ask questions after this POS requests a lawyer, the appointed council either didn't pursue the issue or had the court order anything said after his request deemed inadmissible.
The detective definitely needs to work on questioning techniques, as one day soon the attorneys they come up against won't be court appointed & will wipe the floor with them & an offender will walk!!
RIP to all the victims here. 💔
This detective should probably work at like Taco Bell or something. She would probably suck at that too.
When he asked for the lawyer, the male detective should have told herto stop, she is messing up the entire case. She needs to get in trouble and whoever trained her. Yikes
What is it with these so called fathers killing kids
Actually, killing children is one of the few areas of violent crime where women predominate.
Are you failing to recall the MANY cases where children are k!//ed by their mothers? Or just purposely shrugging it off?
Matter of fact, not far from me, a mother in Duxbury Massachusetts…a mother purposely sent the father on a fool’s errand.
She made sure he’d be gone long enough…to str@ngle her 3 children.
Woman are 3 times as likely to K!// their children than fathers….not to mention all the ab$rtion$.

Some cases should be automatic death penalty, no matter what state you live in
So, which phone was on the charger, and which one was he using? I wish they'd covered that more thoroughly.

Wow, it just breaks my heart!!!
Thank goodness he didn't get away with this crime. The female detective was pushing it she was starting her opinion and still asking questions even when he kept asking to talk to a lawyer. The male detective did the right thing but she didn't budge at all she kept asking questions. If he don't confess ok let the evidence do the talking!!!
I bet the female interrogator is a mother she put her feelings in this that’s why she keep talking to him after he asked for a lawyer. Her heart was in the right place I believe.
You could put your heart in this just by being a decent human. Period
This is so bad! This man asked for a lawyer about ten minutes prior to this investigator continuing on relentlessly with her interrogation . She read him his Miranda rights twice and she just kept going .. insane !! Totally corrupt of these two detectives .
Yeah not right but why are you more mad at that and not a person who killed his own son? You sound like you might need to go on a list.
Leave it to our community to blame to people trying to catch the murderer lmao. You are worried about the wrong thing.
@@mrwhite2039I don't think it's concern for him. It's concerning about continuing to ask questions after he ask for a lawyer. That could give him an out on appeal.
