Masha-Allah-- the Shaykh's prose falls like poetry on the heart. Wonderfully articulate and insightful. His lectures are among the few that I find both intellectually as well as spiritually satisfying. May Allah preserve him.

Further to what the Shaykh says at around 22:15 - 22:40, the symbolism of a veil honoring something holy is also present in the Bible. According to Hebrews 9:3, there was a veil in front of that part of the (Jerusalem) Temple which is the "Holiest of Holies."
