  • Hi guys and welcome to my 6th episode in this FRY-Yay series. Today I’ll be doing some homemade nachos. I started off this recipe by frying up a fresh batch of tortilla chips. First start off by cutting tortilla wraps into 6 triangles, then fry chips on low heat. I then topped with fresh pico de gallo, guacamole, feta cheese, sour cream and cheese sauce. Please see below the measurements I used to create these fresh toppings.
    Pico de gallo
    1 small onion (chopped)
    3 medium tomatoes (chopped)
    1 medium jalapeño pepper (rib and seeds removed, chopped)
    cilantro
    juice of 2 limes
    1 tsp salt
    Guacamole
    1 medium ripe avocado
    1 tbsp lime juice (half of a lime)
    salt and pepper to taste
    Cheese sauce
    Start off by making a roux. Melt butter and then add the flour. After the roux starts to bubble, add milk. Then add cheese and season to taste
    1 tbsp or 15g butter
    1 tbsp or 15g flour
    1 cup or 256ml whole milk
    Add your favourite melting cheese.
    Season to taste
