Switch heels & nollie heels freaked me out, like how Devin's switch flips & nollie flips do. Regular & fakie Heelflips i loved but i really couldn't learn them the other way. It pissed me off.

It reminds me of that guy who goes up to random people's businesses and films them a trailer. What they get is 100 buck + super tip + production for their insta and what you get is a video in return. It seems like a pretty fair trade imo.

Is it possible to do all flip tricks with a foot plant, so you flip the board using one foot, an the other foot to hop back onto the board in one fluid motion. Like doing a flip trick mid push? I guess you’d have to be pushing all sorts of weird ways into the trick ..I’m not a skater lol… just enjoy the progression of tricks

just watched your previous video where you lost it. Don't you think it's about time you matured and stopped getting so adolescently angry over not being able to complete a trick or a line. You're in your mid thirties, it's time to move on from that kind of response. It's only completing a line, it's not important. All that happens is you don't do a trick or two, nothing else, there's no issue here. I think growing up watching pros get angry has normalised that sort of behaviour whereas in the wider world, it's pathetic or the actions of an arsehole with anger management problems, the kind women shouldn't marry. I'm not saying a woman shouldn't marry you, but merely pointing out what type of man that behaviour is usually associated with. No offense meant, I just think you need an opinion from outside of your skateboarding bubble. I'm saying this because you put yourself in hospital for christ sake. It's ridiculous. You strike me as being someone that wants to grow and improve as a human being. So make a choice, and change.

We have triggers that lead to fight/flight/freeze.
I can't speak for everyone cos it's a spectrum, but I get irrationally frustrated and angry when things don't go according to plan. I'm 43, consider myself quite self-aware, and still find it hard to manage the overwhelming emotions.
It's a real battle when it comes to self compassion cos it's soooo frustrating to know logically shit shouldn't get me so in my feelings, but I literally can't help it in the moment...then I get more upset at myself, n it goes round n round in a downward spiral.
If you don't understand ASD, your perspective is understandable.

Some people can employ coping mechanisms, and others find it almost impossible to do.
For example: Dan rips his t-shirt in that moment where he wants to break his board.
This is a coping mechanism that shows he is trying to choose the lesser of 2 evils.
These are ways of releasing energy that's blocked due to having a neurodivergent brain.
A trip to the hospital obviously isn't ideal, but we all lose it from time to time, and sometimes we can't let shit go as hard as we try.
