- 242 days of van life: Experience a week of weather contrasts with us. We visit the city of Sivas along the Silk Road. Stroll with us through the historic shopping arcade and admire the city's lavishly decorated double minaret madrassas.
We will take you further to Konya to the Mevlana Museum, the ancestral home of the well-known Sufi order of the Whirling Dervishes and to the city's most historic madrassas and mosques from the Seljuk era.
On the way to the coast we stop at the Kargi Hani caravanserai, where traders stopped with their animals and goods hundreds of years ago.
Shortly afterwards we reach the Mediterranean coast and relax for a few days.
We are Petra and Christoph and we are on the road for a year with our Pössl 2Win R van. Our journey takes us east across the Balkans, through the Caucasus and the Central Asian states Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan along the Silk Road. Every Sunday we report from our Van Life.

Hallo ihr beiden, ich habe beinahe vergessen mich auf das Video zu melden. Christoph hat mir ja in Griechenland gesagt, es ist wichtig bei RUclips zu kommunizieren! Aber Spaß bei Seite, was habt ihr denn für Reifen drauf? Wir fahren Sommerreifen und haben, wenn wir ende März Richtung Albanien fahren, schon noch Schnee!
Hallo Reiner, ja klasse, RUclips liebt Interaktion :) Ich weiß nicht, ob wir gerade gute Vorbilder mit unserer Bereifung sind. Vorne fahren wir zwei türkische Sommerreifen von Lassa, nachdem in Tschkent für unsere Größe nichts anderes zu bekommen war. Hinten zwei Conti Allwetterreifen. Wenn ich im März nach Albanien fahren würde, würde ich vier Allwetterreifen aufziehen und Ketten mitnehmen, die helfen zur Not auch als Anfahrhilfe im Matsch. Liebe Grüße Christoph
@@fillingwhitespots meine Reifen sind noch, laut meinem Reifenhändler, noch 10 000 km gut. Ich wollte mir, eventuell im Frühjahr in der Türkei Allwetterreifen kaufen. Mit den Ketten muss ich mal schauen. Wir sind aber immer am Limit mit 3,5 Tonnen. Wenn was neu rein kommt, muss was anderes mit dem Gewicht raus.
Ihr mit dem alles nachgeholt was in Deutschland gefehlt hatte 😂😂😂😂
