The USA is such a beautiful country I have to say. Hopefully, one day in the very near future, I will be able to visit. Hopefully... Thanks for sharing this beautiful video clip. Thank you 🙏
I love it, it was a really, really nice experience for me through you. It's such a beautiful place. It's a great place to be. It's like you are in a little bit of a dream world.
The trains are really interesting, but the colonial language completely negates the effect the western expansion had on indiginous people. So... I had to quit watching.
It was a horrible but the natives of his country would have never wanted change or progress. My country has cruelty attached to it that will never be washed away. And the rich still profit from it today. The ones who it was taken from and the slaves it took to build it will never enjoy American truly. I’m still fascinated by the the work that was done to build our modern society
@@csharp57 I am generally horrified by white people, though I am one. It is a huge mystery to me how anyone can look at any part of US or European history and see the genocide and colonization without knowing that the only right thing to do is make reparations and do anything it takes to protect the rights of BIPOC we haven't managed to kill off. It is so clear to me that it is the morally right thing to do.
You need to take the Empire Builder during Pow Wow at Fort Peck Reservation in the summer. The train conductor describes the history of the region including Custer's Last Stand and the great battles. Watch the natives and blown-away Amtrak passengers waving at each other. They set up their pow wow on the rolling grassland hills next to the track. It is an amazing sight. Like out of Dances With Wolves. Tee Pees all over with tribal and US flags flapping in the breeze. They are damn proud of their culture and you should be of yours.
Sitting in a remote agraitarian village in India, I am enjoying the journey.
Thank you so much for this. 😇
