I was driving to work around 4am today just before the sunrise and this song came on my Spotify. It was the first time I’ve ever heard this song. I was really feeling the moment and just thinking about how stars/space and constellations are the one place where I feel God the most. When I look at the stars I just absolutely know without a doubt that He is real. I looked out my window trying to find some stars but it was vey cloudy out. I said to myself “I know you’re real God!” and LITERALLY the moment I said that, a shooting star shot across the sky in front of me!!!! This 27 year old man wanted to sob haha. Gods so good! :)

As a musician, having someone point that out is like a solid gold tip of the hat in achieving the prize of relating to fellow humans who are mostly complete strangers united by a few well chosen words delivered in a chariot of fire. 3 years ago I had a major panic attack that lasted for 3 days...the aftermath physically, emotionally, and mentally has been at times unbearable. At one point I struggled with the thought that God had left me and I was full of guilt because of this because I knew it wasn't true. I heard this song when it came out and it gave words to the cry of my heart. Thank you, Ellie, for writing this song and for honestly sharing it with us.

This song is so beautiful that it brings me to tears every time I sing and listen to it. I love the rawness of Ellie's expression. The way she sings and describes the night sky; the night sometimes reminds me of loneliness. I really feel that way right now because of the pandemic - still grieving for the loss of my daily routine including the social close contact with people (relatives, friends, coworkers). But I believe that in the stillness of the night, God never left. He continues to give us strength. Though we are "broken vessels", His love and grace puts us back together again.
My Mom showed me this song to explain how she felt. After almost 9 years of living through the highs and lows of her cancer diagnosis, our whole family had grown accustomed to her extended hospital visits. I tried to get there to see her twice a week, but it wasn't enough. She felt so lonely and it kills me to think about now. But she found comfort in knowing her Savior was always with her. She's gone now, and hearing this song will always bring me to tears.
So dads, but so comforting that she was a believer.

My daughter is a dancer and this is the song she is dancing to with her duet partner. I watched them perform to it on stage this past weekend, and I found myself sitting their with tears streaming down my face. I lost my brother over 5 months ago, and I feel so alone. Between the lyrics of the song, and Ellieś voice, and the dancers´ movement, I was overcome with emotions.
