      @@apilotsperspective I never flew the 50. The 2000EX Easy was an amazing performer. I also flew the G-550 and its ability to conduct those long distance city pairs non-stop was very nice. The Falcons were much more enjoyable to actually fly imo. Safe flying.

    • @douglaswhitcomb9729
      @douglaswhitcomb9729 5 месяцев назад +2

      @@apilotsperspective The G-550 is a great airplane for long distance city pairs. It goes a long way and is very comfortable for the crew and Pax. The crew rest area is fantastic as well. It maintains a lower cabin altitude than the Falcon, and that makes the long distance flights much less fatiguing. Taking required Tech Stops needed in the Falcon out of the equation is also a big benefit. Flights to SBGR or SAEZ, for example, are easily made non-stop. However, IMO, the Falcon is a much nicer flying airplane and the Easy avionics platform is far superior to Plainview. The Falcon is much more efficient with fuel.

    Well, Mr. pilot's perspective:
    I have read the comment about the music also. I wouldn't take it too hard (on yourself). I, for instance, just found that it could be a little less high on the volume. And I also wouldn't play it in moments such as before and take off. However, there are certain moments where some music is appreciated (for instance, in those fast-forward pieces along the flight).
    Your videos are great, and for those like me who really love aviation, it's always a pleasure to watch them, especially knowing the work there is behind (filming,editing,upgrading it). So, thank you for sharing them with us and from Portugal 🇵🇹 I wish you good winds and happy landings. 👍

    Well Done Captain!!!!! Butter Landing plus full length use of the Runway on landing and letting reverse thrust do what it was designed to do. Minimal breaking to save the breaks. Currently working on my PPL, and I can't wait to get to Turbine Aircraft. More videos like this please. Maybe some night Time IFR.

    I hear the callout "My tops" from the PF after airspeed comes alive in many videos. What exactly does this mean? I have tried to google it to no avail. Thanks!

    • @apilotsperspective
      @apilotsperspective  5 месяцев назад +6

      During takeoff, the non-flying pilot takes control of the yoke until 80 knots. At that speed the flying pilot is offered to take the yoke. To ensure the flying pilot is attentive he or she will reply my yoke or my tops letting the non-flying pilot know they no longer have control of the yoke and the flying pilot has control of the yoke or tops. Tops refers to the yoke.

    Enjoyed the video. A quality aircraft, you're lucky to fly it - even luckier if you didn't have to pay for the rating. Best wishes, retired 744 Cpt.

      I agree the Falcon is the best plane I've flown. I'm sure you can share some cool flying stories about your time in the cockpit. Right again the type costs $40K at flight safety.

      I'm thinking of buying a rating to get into 91. I hear of guys right seat in their 70's. Stay safe - tilt and range.

      @@monkeyboy8424 there's such a shortage of good pilots in part 135 and 91 that it's not challenging for someone with you experience to find a gig.
