Azuka, I just listened to this broadcast . I did comment on the issue of North Anambra and South Anambra several months ago. All the governors to date are from North Anambra. I divide the state into two zones (North and South). Anambra is a very small state to be divided into three zones (North, Central, South). Creating Central Anambra zone is to help North Anambra be ruling the state. Could you tell us a person from South Anambra zone who has been the governor of that state. None. The northern part of the state is more developed than the south of the state, even though there are more millionaires and billionaires from the South of the state. For example, there are wealthy people in Nnewi, Ozubulu, Okija, Ihiala, Ukpor, etc. These places I mentioned are in the South Anambra zone. It is high time for South Anambra to stand their ground.
The Anambra state government is not active in Nnewi, but Nnewi has so many billionaires but they are un able to work together.If one billionaire builds the road , another billionaire might take responsibility...that is black man for you.
So, if you are a millionaire, will you fix the road? . What is the tax money for. You really don't need to comment sometimes.

I told this shop owner to keep his environment clean so that it will attract people who have my kind of mentality....he told me that the people that are in government are so corrupt that they can't keep the environment clean....People are dying in Nigeria just because of the smell that is coming out from the gutter. The story I aam telling you here happened in festac lagos 7 months ago. If I were to own a business in Nigeria, I will always keep the gutters surrounding my business clean. I am not gonna wait for an idiot in government who doesn't have human values to keep my environment clean.

Nnewi is highest place taxes is being generated in Anambra state, South East, and Nigeria as a whole.
Anambra state political god fathers, are anti Nnewi development.
Especially, this Governor, Charles Chukwuma Soludo. Hated Nnewi. Mean while, it's the Nnewi man political party, (APGA) founded by Gen. Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.
That brought Soludo to power, when he tried to contest for Governorship elections 2 times and failed whorefully.
Before coming to contest under (APGA) and won.

While I admire your write up, I want to correct and error you made. Ikemba was not the founder of APGA. Rather he was given the platform to contest for Presidential election.

There is limited resources. Soludo is rightly focusing on Awka as the state capital and Ekwulobia his local government (Obiano and Ngige focused on Umuleri/Aguleri and Alor their areas respectively) Hopefully after finishing with Ekwulobia in his first term, and if Soludo returns for second term, he will focus attention to Nnewi and Awka. As for Ihiala, no hope. Onitsha? Oh very difficult. The people there destroy infrastructure a week after. No hope for Onitsha.

Ojukwo brought out peter obi with mrs Etiaba (Nnewi woman) as his running mate. Nnewi people supported that ticket, he won the election, but did nothing for ndi Nnewi; he even had the nerves to be going about saying that nnewi people didn't vote for him. When he contested for second tenure, he removed mrs Etiaba and picked another running mate, despite that, Ojukwu still supported him.....

Nigeria politicians always construct roads that lasted for 6months.........low standard roads, must of the time you finds out that those roads has been constructed 2years ago, but there's nothing to show for it
It is really embarrassing and disappointing that Anambra State Government has not given the desired attention to Nnewi. If Soludo's Government is assessed with conditions of Nnewi, in terms of infrastructure, then it has failed woefully.

Soludo has done a few/ at least 3 roads in nnewi unfortunately all of Anambra is almost like nnewi is terms of lagging infrastructure. So you have to try to balance/manage the slim budget as a gov. Its nothing to do with politics or Ifeanyi ubah etc. Be constructive and contextual in your criticsm for once. If you are talking about tax collection then every project should be in Onitsha since that's where most of the tax money is coming from actually. Anambra had many major urban centers that means the budget to fix them are to slim for every town. Even nnewi is made up of a metropolis now. Not just that town. Soludo has said he will open up Nnewi by dualizing from Nwagu Agulu To Nnewi and then Ozubulu. But no one will say he has not done any road in Nnewi at all. That is a lie. Nnewi people has been voting against the formal governors. It is a wrong thing to do. They only focused on Uba knowing that he is likely not to win with that party.
