The Novel Lush Girl this had to be done! This book pissed me off to the point where I needed to see if I wasn't the only one feeling this way. My only regret is that I paid $15 for this garbage 😭 great review!
The Novel Lush Oh god 25$???? Sounds atrocious! I ordered mine with my amazon prime and I'm still pissed, lmao anyway you're welcome! I loved your review and you've now got a new subscriber because this was funny as hell😂
You are the queen of salty videos I love every minute of this. I wasn't going to read this book regardless but now I have to just to see everything that you was talking about about!
OMG this was hilarious and very educational. I was also very confused as to what time period SJM was basing her books on especially with the mention of the townhouses lol. Once upon a time I was very excited for this book, but I dont think I will be picking it up anymore. maybe when my library gets it. That is very weird that she switched to third person....like, why?
ACO what the f is REAL. Beyonce of the bookworld, lollllll. I can't compute how this has above 4 stars on Goodreads. It was bad. I didn't enjoy Rhysand's POV either, I don't think Sarah J Maas knows how to write him, where to take his character. The plot was done in ACOWAR, so she was just stressing out every little detail and small plotline she could find. NOTHING HAPPENED and I was so bored through the entire thing.
This is the best SJM review I’ve ever heard! I wholeheartedly agree about the crazy fans. I started out sort of enjoying the series, but the crazies ruined it for me. Question a plot hole or criticize anything and they practically send assassins out after you 😂
Holy shit, it was EXACTLY like a gonorrhea commercial :'D This was amazing. Cheers! And arrrgh, the switches between third person and first person pissed me off to no end D:
I'm barely a minute into this video and I feel like I'm home back in NJ. My moms. My younger sis. My (long passed away) big sis. Aunts. Cousins. Neighbors. Thanx for the taste of home, li'l sistah! Subscribed :^)
I got this book in a giveaway and I started reading it. I didn't go past 5 pages though. I was rolling my eyes soooo muchhhh. Thanks for this awesome review! I'm not going to waste my time finishing it. Btw, I love how original you are. Your video is informal and it felt like you were speaking to me directly. I really love that!
I love love love love your videos so much. Whenever I finished reading a book (you also read) I watch your review of that book and it's always so on point and hilarious.
You are too funny!! 😂 Hahahahaha I love your supernatural reference! I like the different POV’s. I thought they could use their magic to rebuild the city too!! Omg!! 🤣 like seriously! That’s whiskey in that wine glass?!! You did say it was 10:30, in the morning right? You are my spirit animal! I want to be you when I grow up! 🤣 life goals Underwhelmed with this book. Great video! ❤️Nicole
Absolutely loved this! Had me laughing and agreeing so much! I have to ask tho! What do you think of Cassian and Nesta? And Elain and Azriel or Lucien?
I. Hate. Nesta. So. MUCH! She was an ass to unnecessary proportions. I understand she was affected, but I think for a YA book, her coping mechanisms went a little far. Elain just bores me. The trampled flower thing was already old in ACOMAF
Maas is working on so many books at the same time that I'm convinced she gets her settings mixed up. She clearly doesn't hire an editor, or at least not a very good one.
While I overall enjoyed the book (despite the flaws and annoyances), I do agree with a lot of your points. This one was definitely far from the best. I too got a bit annoyed with the constant switching between first POV and third POV, as well as how Mor was portrayed. Really hoping that if we get more Mor POV chapters in the next book that we don't have any more of that and we get badass Mor back. Like, I'd get if we were in her head and got to hear her thoughts about her fear at the memories and all while she was putting on a mask. I'd be fine with that...just...not how things were done in here. Also, your comparison to Supernatural was on point, and gave me a major laugh (along with all your other hilarious commentary haha).
😂😂 I agree with so many of the points you made. I like how she dealt with some of the PTSD, mainly Nesta even though she was also pretty annoying too. #Mordeservesbetter Seriously!! Mor was one of my favorite characters since ACOMAF but it just seems like she’s gotten weaker since she first appeared. I’m wondering if this was done so we don’t question if she doesn’t appear in the next book or too. I had to stop reading for a minute because I was laughing so hard at the Amren scene. With all that being said I’m curious how she plans on moving forward with everyone in the rest of the series.
Hi. I looked through your channel. I am wondering if you read the throne of glass series? I just started back to reading and I have read all the published books this past month. I been wanting to hear different perspectives on the series. If you read them do you have any videos on them? Or will you be making any?
I read Throne of Glass earlier this year and thought it was garbage - I was considering giving one of her other series another try, but it sounds like her writing hasn’t improved since her earlier books :S thanks for the hilarious video! New subbie here :)
I wish we could've gotten more information on Feyre's powers instead of how she felt towards buying things. Now we won't know anything because next book is about people who really matter!
Yes to this whole video. I laughed so hard while watching. This makes me soooo happy that I gave up on the series when I did. Also, I feel for you about the Maas fandom. I have the highest liked negative review for Throne of Glass on Goodreads and I ended up deleting everything but the gifs because the effing stans just would. Not. Stop.
I LOVE YOU. I haven’t read this yet, I’ve just been watching people crap on it and all of those videos are FANTASTIC! So many things I haven’t even thought about about the series (like how terrible the history/modern world building is). I love how you pointed out how many times she says the same words like “Illyrian” and “High Lady”! 😂
I’m so ready for this salt 🤣 although I’m a SJM fan she does have her faults and the second time reading the series I was like ... “She was just shitting in the woods “ 😩🤣🤣🤣 The Illyrian bit took me out 😩🤣 “My black cornrows”
YES! I thought it was so weird that she switched between 3rd and 1st person? But weirdly I preferred her writing in 3rd to 1st??? Idk. It seemed like breaking a writing rule or something?
I am mad at you....lol I read this book in one day. I read reviews and knew from comments it would be crazy. But read it anyway. It was a weird book for me,but I still like it. I was really lookinh forward to more Nesta and Cassians. She is such a fucking ass, but love it. We shall see for the next book. Azeril.....im need him to get a good woman because he seems like a good Fae. Shit one of them damn wraith twins. I can appreciate her writing this book through a crisis and blessings, but it left me wanting more. I cherish your reviews. Nurse to nurse. Thank you!
Alright so I’m back commenting again late, a year later on another vid of yours lol. So I’ve bought the 1st two books in this series, have yet to read them, been reading classics. What I’m getting from this vid here is to not buy the 3rd book just skip straight to the 4th when it comes out 😉 THANKS 🙏
Haha I have so many thoughts about this. First of all, I love this series, but I had very low expectations for ACOFAS. And I thought there would only be 2 POVs (Feyre and Rhys). It was too short of a book with short chapters for so many POVs. It kind of read like fan fiction to me.
I enjoyed the book because I didn't read it expecting much but I am loving this sort of criticism. The chapters from Rhys and Cassian were a little odd. Juvenile was a good word. I think Maas just has a strange idea of how men think.
"Good and what the fuck did I just purchase." Yeah I have read those kinds of books too now I am glad I didn't continue this book series although I have finished her throne of Glass series and towards the end of the series I wasn't liking the books as much but I did decide that I have already put all this time in might as well finish what I have started and I have mixed feeling's on the final book
I am subbed to you. I watch most of your vids but I wasn't going to watch this due to having no interest in anything by SJM but something dragged me in... Now this really was a rant 30+ minutes of rant...how pissed were you??? OMG. 😂😂😂😂😂 I've never read any SJM, I had no wish to read any SJM, but for the first time ever I feel the need to read a book just to see what the heck you're going on about! there is so much shade about this one particular book on BT right now, but you really did have me LOLing!!! SO MANY TIMES! Also, you ever been camping? I ask 'cos you sure are interested in these characters shitting in the woods rather than toilets!!!
BAHAHAHA!! No, I haven't been camping. In the previous books they spend a lot of time outdoors like in historical romances when the characters are traveling and everything is very rough. Imagine those characters living in a building like keep where they had to light fires, etc, then they travel, basically hiking and roughing it, then all of a sudden they're in townhomes with stoves and plumbing and sweaters. It drove me insane lol.
This book was basically fan fiction level. SJM books have gone really downhill, the later ones belong on wattpad not the New York Times best seller list
Oh my God I’m living for this review! As a fan of the original series (despite its issues) ACOFAS was unnecessary on so many levels. And I could take a largely plotless book if the characters are entertaining. But Sarah seemed to shoot all her character development in the face. Nesta is bitch 2.0, feyre is a prick to Lucien, Mor has back slid, Rys like what even is he here? And everything that is important in the book... rising tension with the illyrians, lack of solid treaties between courts...almost everything is just revealed through dialogue between the inner circle. Was her editor just not going to tell her she could reveal these elements with events? Plot? Maybe I had a worse experience because I listened to it on audio book. The changing POV - 1st person 3rd person crap was really hard to follow with one unenthusiastic voice actor who did nothing to differentiate who was talking.
You are a beast with these uploads lol. Ya, I am not going to read that court books. it's a really good looking cover. I am going to be honest. I am an old bitch and I went without sex for 2 years. I came off that and realize the truth. I can't wait and I AINT NEVER doing that shit again. Straight up monster mode. Sometimes, you can't wait girl lol.
This was the most entertaining half hour of my day today. I try my best to just enjoy these books for whay thwy are (quick entertainment) but I have to say, this one was pretty annoying and I definitely enjoyed the Feysand parts the least.
I haven’t read this yet (and idk if I’m going to, I’m kind of scared), but from what I gather ACOFAS just seems kinda lazy. I feel like SJM is just overwhelmed and didn’t put as much effort into ACOFAS. She literally is having a baby this month year, releasing the last throne of glass book, and the cat woman book. Plus she has a new adult fantasy series coming out in 2019. If feels like this was just slapped together in order to appease her fans since she promised this.
The whole ACOTAR series is terrible... maybe I should write a novel filled with shit so I can make that money 🤔🤣🤣🤣 EDIT: Tamlin and Rhys deserve each other. They should have been mates. Feyre deserved better tbh
"This book is somewhere between YA and 'why is my child reading this?!" I loved that, and the entire video!
Thank you!
I am LIVING for people dragging this book!
I wasn't going to but it was just SO BAD. It was begging for it. BEGGING.
The Novel Lush Girl this had to be done! This book pissed me off to the point where I needed to see if I wasn't the only one feeling this way. My only regret is that I paid $15 for this garbage 😭 great review!
Oh I am LIVID that I pre-ordered it from BAM. It came out to $25 with shipping. >_< and thank you!
The Novel Lush Oh god 25$???? Sounds atrocious! I ordered mine with my amazon prime and I'm still pissed, lmao anyway you're welcome! I loved your review and you've now got a new subscriber because this was funny as hell😂
Bahaha, aww thank you 😍
I liked SJM a lot when I was younger and I still like ACOMAF, but I'm soooo over it now. Now I just watch hilarious reviews such as this.
I think I am completely over it lol. I should have stopped after ACOWAR but I kept going "maaaaaaybe it'll get better"
The Novel Lush Haha, my thoughts exactly!
I love your title - ACOWTF 🤣
‘Beyoncé fans of the book world’ ohhh myyyyy your sass and humour and comedy is PERFECT! Loved this video!!
"Drawing stick figures and shit that was rude." Girl I'm dead. I lost it at that.
Bahaha, that's ALWAYS bugged the hell out of me!
YES QUEEN, THROW DA SHADE
"Give a bitch a Pumpkin Spiced Latte and be done with it." Bahahahahaha!!! Ohhhh my god, I'm dead.
I've been dying to complain about those damn sweaters and leggings for like a YEAR lmao!
“A weird random commercial break”😂
LOL!!!! Give her a pumpkin spice latte! Omg, this was amazing. I think I might to a review video too.
Lol, you KNOW that's all she was missing. Well that and a Yorkie in a handbag
The sweatpants that say Juicy on the butt
It's just all fan-fic to me. A fan-fic that should have been free and posted on her website, just like other authors.
You are the queen of salty videos I love every minute of this. I wasn't going to read this book regardless but now I have to just to see everything that you was talking about about!
Bahahaha, thanks!
The thumbnail & title for this video are absolute perfection. :')
The point of view switching drove me completely up a wall! 5 character POVs is bad enough, but 1st to 3rd on top of it??? Ugh
Ikr! Like in the beginning of ACOMAF it has FLUSHING TOILETS.
ACO what the f is REAL. Beyonce of the bookworld, lollllll. I can't compute how this has above 4 stars on Goodreads. It was bad. The plot was done in ACOWAR, so she was just stressing out every little detail and small plotline she could find. NOTHING HAPPENED and I was so bored through the entire thing.
Tbh ACOFAS was trash, and I honestly think that the ACOTAR series would have been ten times better if they didn't have to mention sex in every chapter
You got a new subscriber from this video alone :) cracked me up! "Sarah J Maas is the Beyonce of the literary world, her fans will cut you"
This is the best SJM review I’ve ever heard! I wholeheartedly agree about the crazy fans. I started out sort of enjoying the series, but the crazies ruined it for me. Question a plot hole or criticize anything and they practically send assassins out after you 😂
So glad I found your channel. Holy hell you are hilarious and RIP apart books like me. Finally there is real talk with book reviews.
I loved this video from: "I'm supposed to be asleep right now." Your humor is right up my alley
I have never read these books and don't intend to but for some reason I'm watching and loving this video anyway. Sign of a good booktuber!
Holy shit, it was EXACTLY like a gonorrhea commercial :'D This was amazing. Cheers! And arrrgh, the switches between third person and first person pissed me off to no end D:

If I ever release my book next year I would love for you to read it with fireball whiskey. I'll even pay for shipping and handling.
Can we just ditch Feyre an Rhys, I’m done with them I want more Mor, Nesta, Azriel an Ameron.
I love your videos!!! Thanks for the heads up on the book👍🏻😊
Thank yoooou!
I'm so happy the RUclips drama went down bc that's how I found you and you might just be my new favorite booktuber 😍😍😍
OMG. Pumpkin spice latte. I'm dying.
Heh heh, thank you!
I am so glad that I stopped reading SJM's books :) The are not for me and they take me forever to read. I loved watching this review!
Thank you! And yeah, I think this will be my last one. I'll just read spoilers for the next TOG book so I know how that worked out lol
I love love love love your videos so much. Whenever I finished reading a book (you also read) I watch your review of that book and it's always so on point and hilarious.
“Build a house, bitch” 😂
You are too funny!! 😂
Hahahahaha I love your supernatural reference!
I like the different POV’s.
I thought they could use their magic to rebuild the city too!! Omg!! 🤣 like seriously!

Underwhelmed with this book.
Great video!

I love this video! you are so funny and your comments on the book are awesome!
♨️Your *Townhome* rant has now sealed your fate as a cyber friend in my head for eternity 😂😂😂😂😂
Maas is working on so many books at the same time that I'm convinced she gets her settings mixed up. She clearly doesn't hire an editor, or at least not a very good one.
OMFG I love you! This was too funny!
Hey, that’s like my favorite episode of Supernatural! Don’t disrespect lol
Oh I it was hilarious and I loved it, but sooooo randoooooom. CSI Sam though? BAHAHA
this is the video we didn't know we wanted and definetly don't deserve
I love this thanks for the facts queen

My first review on this book. I'm ready!
She’s the Beyoncé of the book world!!!! I. Am. Dying. 😂😂😂😂🤷🏽♀️
😂😂 I agree with so many of the points you made. I like how she dealt with some of the PTSD, mainly Nesta even though she was also pretty annoying too. #Mordeservesbetter Seriously!! So quick question and this is totally off topic. What is your favorite wine? What is your favorite liquor? Do you prefer dark or light more?
Hi. I looked through your channel. I am wondering if you read the throne of glass series? I just started back to reading and I have read all the published books this past month. I been wanting to hear different perspectives on the series. If you read them do you have any videos on them? Or will you be making any?
Haven’t read the novella and don’t think I’m going to but I’m surprised she didn’t use the words his Illyrian manhood
I enjoyed the book but I also enjoyed your video
I actually like Maas but this s*** is HILARIOUS!!!!! I’m ready for this book now. And I know what to avoid in my work! 👍🏾👍🏾😂🤣
Perhaps this shouldn't be sold at the full price of a novel. Novella price...
AGREED! With shipping I paid $24 and I'm so mad about it!
Yes to this whole video. I laughed so hard while watching. This makes me soooo happy that I gave up on the series when I did. Also, I feel for you about the Maas fandom. I love this
Also, where did you get your bookshelf? It's beautiful!
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! 100% AGREED.
I JUST HIT SUBSCRIBE. This is GOLD.
YES! I thought it was so weird that she switched between 3rd and 1st person? But weirdly I preferred her writing in 3rd to 1st??? Idk. It seemed like breaking a writing rule or something?
THANK YOUUU I really dislike Feyre, honestly. When I’m reading I just imagine it’s me with Rhys and not her loool...

i love these books but i will agree that ACOFAS wasn't the best. i love this video so much, your intro was gold.
I gave acofas 3 stars.
omg someone else noticed the modernized words!!! I was like, is this medieval/historical or... modern fantasy...?
Rhys = Edward
Feyre = Bella (both names mean beauty)
Fae = vampires
The Inner Circle = The Cullens lmao...

I adore this review :D I'm laughing so much.

In Rhys' defense.... that sounds about accurate to all the men I know lol!
Giiiiirl, TRUTH 🤣
This review made me a subscriber lmao
Alright so I’m back commenting again late, a year later on another vid of yours lol. So I’ve bought the 1st two books in this series, have yet to read them, been reading classics. Yeah, I think I'm done with them for sure!
Haha I have so many thoughts about this. First of all, I love this series, but I had very low expectations for ACOFAS. And I thought there would only be 2 POVs (Feyre and Rhys). It was too short of a book with short chapters for so many POVs. It kind of read like fan fiction to me.
YES! It was very much fan fiction! And the number of POVs was ridiculous
I listened to the audiobook expecting at least 15hrs of book. Imagine my rage when it ended after 6hrs...
I enjoyed the book because I didn't read it expecting much but I am loving this sort of criticism. The chapters from Rhys and Cassian were a little odd. Juvenile was a good word. I think Maas just has a strange idea of how men think.

At least the interlude episodes of Supernatural were usually entertaining or at least funny. This is neither....
🤣🤣🤣
The whole ACOTAR series is terrible... maybe I should write a novel filled with shit so I can make that money 🤔🤣🤣🤣
EDIT: Tamlin and Rhys deserve each other. They should have been mates. Feyre deserved better tbh
Lol I thought I was the only one who shipped Tamlin with Rhysand.
That whole repetition of the same thing annoys the shit out of me.
God yes. I was wondering if anybody actually read the thing or if they went "ah, people will buy it anyway. Send it to the printer!"
The Novel Lush Doesn't sound like it. Her editor was like "fuck it."
RIGHT!! Sure seemed like it
