Me on a no cooling call in which I found the condenser fan motor running but the compressor not! I almost misdiagnosed!The system is low on refrigerant as well.
Instead of taking the top off. Just the common wire ( usually black) to each of the other legs of power for the compressor. If open, you’ll have no continuity on the common
Looks like its a 3 phase unit as i dont see a run capacitor for the compressor only the fan. What happened was the burnt wire caused it to single phase, and not allow the comoressor to start.
