ROFLMAO I absolutely love the idea that there's this entire "inner life" for all the NPCs, where they even know what they're doing, and they're all just wanting to do the best job they possibly can. Brilliantly done as usual!
I don't think that's "the death knight". The death knight was a playable character in the previous sketch. This is an NPC. I mean it's not like Epic NPC man has any real continuity, but still.
He could be a death knight npc even if death knights are a playable class. It is hardly like that is completely unheard of in games. In fact it is pretty common, especiqlly WoW which they have said is one of the titles they draw most inspiration from.
Ben is really cool and convincing in his "master necromancer" roles, and they make a wonderful duet with Adam as an "apprentice". Loved this skit very much. :)
I thought those self aware graveyard keepers were funny, but that necromancer and his "victim" are a whole new level. I like that. Oh btw: You guys know that we like to see that referred demon scene soon?
I appreciate that the actors take turns in leading roles. It allows for greater diversity of characters and everyone gets the opportunity to sharpen their acting skills. Keep up the fantastic work!
I love how wholesome this ended up being, like I thought he was gonna get worse and Ben would go all "Outrageous" and such but they had so much fun learning together.
I do love when the NPC’s get annoyed with each other but I really love the ones like this where they help each other out for the players benefit. It’s heartwarming and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
Wow, the acting at 3:01 was so good! The voice, the emotions, the desperation, the pose, the intensity, the music, perfect! All that training definitely paid off!
Adam is such a great actor.. Depending on his role he comes across as annoying, nerdy, embarassing, brave or attractive, and at first I even thought that Playtech Adam and Sorcerer Adam were two different people. He made me understand what a huge impact one's facial expression can in principle have on dating for example. 😄

Nice to see Eugene finally moved on from trying to save his family to pursue his love for -getting beat up by demons- acting! Good for him, he looks so happy
Should do a sequel where the captive npc becomes so famous for acting he thinks he is too good to continue working with the death Knight on his quests. I'm picturing him walking around as if he is a big shot demanding to have a bigger role in quest's or maybe demand to be a main line NPC and refusing to even associate with the death Knight.
And then a sequel to that sequel where the captive NPC realizes that fame made him lose what could have been a great friend, with flashback of the torture scenes, but in a nostalgic way. With a sense of emptiness inside goes back to look for the Death Knight for one last acting quest but A) the Death Knight has been deleted from the game, making the end feel more empty and sad or B) They reunite and make a wholesome ending.
This made me laugh so hard, and then left me smiling a lot, it's so adorable. And I love how it didn't degenerate into the conflict getting worse and worse, but instead they got better and better.
Adam’s acting was fantastic, but I’m also genuinely impressed with Ben in this one too. He really did a great job conveying the characters emotions through facial expressions especially. Looking embarrassed whenever Adam (victim) messed up on his acting and seeming like he really wanted to see him improve, just like any good teacher would.
This is a great idea. A lot of video games dont realize how far a human can fall without taking damage. They always get it wrong. This would be one awesome video.

To all that didn't know. You can actually role in the game to fall to up to like 10meters which is quite a lot actually. Loved, that they implemented this gameplay aspect because it reminded me of ocarina of time
The second time Rowan showed up I was expecting a "hmm, this is SUS" comment when Adams line went differently. Adam plays the role of an unpaid intern so well....
I'm getting a Baelin's Route vibe from this. The idea of the NPCs actually just acting through their roles and potentially being able to go off the path is awesome! Love your work as always!

The Secret Life of NPCs, Episode 1. We follow a familiar yet still unfolding NPC’s journey from bit part character with oh so wonderfully cheesy dialogue as he begins to hone his side quest set dressing skills with the help of his kind villainous new mentor.
I really enjoyed this take on things a lot; I’m digging this whole “peek behind the curtain,” approach to Epic NPC Man’s universe, I hope you guys keep peppering them throughout, it’s a cool bit of variety to your already hilarious content. Thanks for the laughs!
I really thought at the end we would see Ben's character death animation and it be complete garbage even though he's been hounding Adam the entire time.
