In this country, I've seen homeowners be kicked out of their own homes while moochers squatting in their property are allowed to stay in their house with the homeowner's belongings. All it takes is the squatter to say they've been living there for a little while and show police proof that they've been living there, and that they are fearful for their safety. One time there was a domestic disputes by my neighbor and the woman called the cops. The cops told her their marriage meant nothing, her name wasn’t on the lease so she needed to leave since the man would not allow her back into the house. Marriage only goes so far, property is still separate unless both your names are explicitly listed on the property.
The crazy woman assaulted the man several times in the video and blocked him from leaving the room. With that evidence she could have been charged with assault at the least. On top of that, the police can not evict someone because your mad at them. If you let someone live at your house they are a resident and if you want them to leave you need to work that out with them or have them evicted. You can not just throw people out with no notice and no place to go. That's illegal.
