- In this video I show the scale of characters and demons as they appear in the game. I have specified the character height, this is not the best way to measure overall size because some demons are thicker then they are tall. Some characters might also appear at a different scale in game than they do in fluff or lore, this is because characters are scaled mainly to service gameplay.

No way the Hellknight is shorter than the Marauder. Dude towers over everything except the Baron and Whiplash.

Hell Knights aren't _that_ big, plus Marauders are usually a lot more crouched down than this. And besides, the Marauder's height here includes the horns - you can clearly see that the head is below the Hell Knight's head.
The Pinky is no where near as tall as the Hell Knight.

Marauders are just Night Sentinels but corrupted, they should be the same size.

maybe not. in lore the ios is said to be able to bend the dimensional fabric of reality by walking through it. whatever that means. also he has full command over all other demons including the titans because they're demons. in his fight he summons and destroys them all with movement of his hands. finally he has a GIANT FREAKING LASER IN HIS FOREHEAD

@@Fulyazeren9570 I think so. He is the only titan to use devil magic and if he stayed on Earth long enough he would devour the entire universe. so he can be stronger than him. Also the Titan Champion was second only to the Dark Lord, which there were many. The icon itself could've held this title at some point.
The icon is a separate species of titan from Maligog. Maligog belongs to the same species as the Taras Nabad Titan, the nekravol titans, and the one in hell on earth. They’re an enslaved race which act as beasts of burden. The icon is a demon in on itself @@michakrzyzanowski8554
When I first saw Maligog I thought his horn was the neck of a creature that had been beheaded. I was not prepared for what I was about to witness.

Someone did the math and found Maligog is around 3km in height compared to the Icon, who gets made into an ant at 111 meters.

Icon of sin is like a lego character next to moligog
This is the scale of characters as they appear in the game. A note on Titans and Sentinel Mechs (Atlans), they appear at drastically different sizes depending on where you see them in the game, some are smaller than the Icon of sin, but some others are drastically larger.
It is also difficult to say which demon is bigger than another, the measurement below their names is their total height, which includes things like turrets and horns.
How did you get Maligog's model? was it the level or cutscene because he is consistently calculated at 6000+ feet
Also the doom slayer and Icon have stated heights of 6 foot 8 inches and 111 meters. Where did the numbers themselves come from? Did you throw something into a program and base the rest off that one thing? I would have also loved numbers for the aircraft sense I don't have a way to pull models right now.

It wouldn’t fit canonically. The titans are too nice compared to the demons, and they were their own race before being enslaved. I mean, at the end of Nekravol II you need to free two titans to actually enter Urdak. That one Titan that has been sealed at Taras Nabad was supposedly the most evil of the race. The icon of sin isn’t the same species of Titan, being much smaller. Though the doom 2016 Icon skull looked huge.

There were titans fighting on Hell's side at the Immora lvl, and there are lots of dead titans in the background of levels like Sentinel Prime and Blood Swamps, one of them could still have easily been a cool boss battle (Immora is most guilty of wasted potential regarding bosses/minibosses, there were things like titans, dragons and Hell warships all over the place, and yet the final confrontation before the Dark Lord is just a stone imp spam instead of one of the things I listed)

Maligog being the biggest demon we ever see yet it's the only one to actually help doom guy is so ironic.
It’s because he’s not a demon. The titans are unrelated to the demons and have no demonic corruption/lazarus waves. It’s why the doom slayer either doesn’t fight them at all or actually helps them. He frees two of them in Nekravol II.
The icon of sin towers over some skyscrapers and the skyscraper that the boss fight took place. He should be taller than 105m.

It's said that the champion titan is the largest demon in hell, meaning he could be much bigger than Maligog. I know that in doom 2016, the champion titan looked pretty small, but they possibly changed that. The icon of sin is much smaller in doom eternal than he is in doom 2016.
Probably very few, if anyone (other than the father, Samur Maykr, and possible Davoth, assuming any of them knew about him) knew about Maligog’s existence

I thought about including Atlans but the problem is that they vary so much in size depending on where you see them in the game, same thing with Titans.

@@Fjaru Perhaps you could included two versions of Titans and Atlans, one depicting the smallest known size and one depicting the largest known size.
The length of the Doom Slayer is 2.03 m and the length of Icon of Sin is 200 m and length of maligog 10000 m
Damn King Novik is an absolute unit of a man. I mean he is Sentinel of a royale blood. Maybe Sentinels are more variable, some may be around human size and weight, others like King Novik are absolute behemoths
Keep in mind that although this model is textured, he only appears in his ghost spectre form in the game, I dont know how tall he was while he was alive. I am guessing that King Novik was more of a regular sized man while alive, and his ghost form is larger for effect.
@@Fjaru I assume that if his ghost match his throne in Exultia and presumably Taras Nabad throne room as well, his ghost is actually shows his size. We know next to nothing about Sentinel biology, and if marauders can be something to referred to about subject, they are far stronger, faster, durable than any human, and bigger.
@@aynfedo27 Codex depictions show them of the same size as Doomguy, Hell priests who are the highest sentinel blood get depicted as shorter yet in a game they are as tall if not taller than Doomguy.
It’s very analogous to mankind in Warhammer40K, with the leader being the tallest of them all. At 4 metres he’s approaching the height of giraffes.
@@Fjaru The ghost form does not change their heights. We also see Commander Valen in his ghost form in TAG 2, when he gives us the hammer, and his height doesn’t change one bit. King Novik was definitely that same height when he was flesh and blood.
If you ask 3 people how tall the slayer is you'll get 3 answers.

@@juanjoyaborja.3054 sorry I didn't reply earlier but my thinking is that when he was submitted to the Divinity Machine he was stretched, strengthened, and even more enraged, which is why he was screaming in anger and in a tiny bit of a lot of pain.

@@juanjoyaborja.3054 I forget exactly where it's stated in the codex, but I believe somewhere in the Revenant entries it specifically states that Argent energy can make you grow bigger as a side effect. Which makes sense considering how the former humans are also quite tall as well.

An easy way to debunk like, all of this is just to use the fact that the Slayer is 6'8 ft or 2 m tall, and then just go next to any demon in photo mode and use his height as a general comparison. Still a good video though, you don't see many of these scale videos about doom eternal or just doom in general.
These are the models from the game, so the scaling is accurate to the game, as the description says though they did adjust the size of some things for gameplay

I found it annoying how small doom guy felt to play as, standing beside other humans in the game you’re the exact same height if not smaller. The lore says that doom is 6”9. Would have felt way cooler playing with a big hulking badass
I'm going with Doomguys early adaption in which he stands at 1.83m. More realistic. Not to forget, there is a battallion of Doom marines. Personal output. The concept of the one man army is bleh. I like the idea of a slayers unit. A veteran platoon/sub spec force of the Imperial Guard whose assigned to kill high level demons. Yes, I'm one of those that say that Doom, Quake and WH40K are the same universe. And all the demons in doom are just Chaos.

Nearly everyone of those Sentinels are Loyalists to his cause. The "Sentinels" that you see in Ancient Gods Part 2 are just the Militia, Argentian citizens. Which is why they're not wearing fully armored gear.
Assuming that Doom Hell is WH40K is funny. Because if that is the case, then Doomslayer is a Ctan God. Because in actuality, he is a God before he even entered the Machine. Which explains his incorruptibility before arriving to Agenta.
