The CF Elite Benchmade Bugout IMO is the best "stock original" Bugout out on the market. It is just so super light you forget you even have it in your pocket as a EDC. The way more sturdy handles make a major feel difference to me also. IMO it is the perfect lightweight Benchmade Bugout for EDC without spending any extra $$$. If you are wanting to go heavier then of course G10, etc... handles are always a option. There are all the options you would ever want, out there, with the Benchmade Bugout. Just a killer knife with the CF Elite handle IMO.
I had been waiting to buy a Bugout for about a year now in hopes that they’d come out with a model with better handles from the factory, and I’m glad I did. I’ll probably be picking one of else up from my local gun store within a week or so. Great video as always!
The new Bugout integrates Benchmade’s new CF-Elite handle material. This carbon fiber-reinforced nylon polymer is slightly lighter (17%) than the previous Bugout handle. But it has a claimed 50% greater rigidity than those with the Grivory handle.
This is my current favorite Knife, I have the Carbon fiber version , and the only problem is that its soooo light , I am worried i may loose it lol , Nice review
You know people wear concealed guns to church right. I hope three years later you aren’t making the same dumb ass comments on the internet. Remember kids, the internet is forever 🫡😂
With all due respect, weight was a secondary consideration. Benchmade used cheap plastic to increase their profit margin. $12 worth of material/labor ≠ $140.
@z z well there is always 2 sides to a story. Not sure what happened to you but it surely is not the norm. Many are happy with their purchase and hope you can get your issue resolved soon.

The CF replaces the fiberglass used to reinforce the nylon in the handle.

I think I’m gonna buy two of these. I’ll trick one out and keep it for dressing up and keep the other one as a beater. Hell yeah
Great video...I’m new to knives. What kind of cutting jobs would you use this knife for? Thanks
Not bad, but G10 would be my choice. I put G10 scales on my original and it's still just 2 ounces.
How does the blade finish hold up? I'm always weary of coatings on metal. The blade will definitely not look as great when the finish comes off.
I hate those knife fights at the gym
haha yeah why the h*** do you need a knife in the gym

Feels like a $25 knife but I still sort of like it for some reason.
More colors

Alex just like how your parents held onto your brain cells?
Sure benchmade can work on their pricing but we can't overlook the fact that the Bugout is a good knife. To say it's not would be inaccurate.
