    SECOND SEASON: ruclips.net/video/baHT2nR5Wr4/видео.html
    A few notes:
    - We have previously covered some of these battles, but the videos have been outdated graphically and we wanted to present a more clear picture. More battles added, while the research is improved. There will be 2 more episodes covering the expansion of the early Muslim state, and these 2 videos will cover events in North Africa, Iran, Central Asia, Spain, France, and Anatolia among others.
    - Most of the primary sources of this period are Muslim, but they are largely corroborated by the later Byzantine and Iranian sources.
    - Speaking of the Byzantines. We used "Romans" and "Byzantines" interchangeably throughout the video. Some people will not like this, but the words are there to convey meaning and if the meaning is communicated, then we are doing ok.
    - Chill.

Correction: there were a 2 reasons on why Omar relieved Khalid from commanding the Army:
    1) A lot of the muslim soldiers started to get the impression that Khalid must be there in order for them to win. Omar wanted to remove this illusion from their heads for their own sake.
    2) Khalid wanted to make fast decisions based on his own judgment (Abu Baker granted Khalid the freedom to do so) but Omar wanted to oversee any major movement because he was too careful about Rules of engagements especially after receiving complains from the tribes about Khalid as you mentioned and Omar is known for taking complains seriously and questioning the Commanders, Governors and Businessmen about their Ethics to prevent corruption. Even though Khalid is a righteous man but Omar still does’t like operating in the grey area.
Omar’s Nickname is “Al Farouq” which means the one who distinguish between Right and Wrong in even the tiniest situations.
Theres was absolutely no animosity between them, just a disagreement.

Kanz ul Ummal, Volume 5 page 619 Tradition 14091:
Ibn Abi Aun and others narrated that Khalid bin al-Walid claimed that Malik bin Nuwayrah had become Murtad according to the information that he (Khalid) had received. Malik denied this and said: ‘I am a Muslim, I never changed.’ Abu Qutada and Abdullah ibn Umar testified that (Malik is Muslim) but Khalid ordered Dharar bin Al-Auzwar to behead him (Malik). Then Khalid took his (Malik’s) wife. (Umar) said to Abu Bakr: ‘He (Khalid) has performed adultery, you have to stone him’. Abu Bakr said: ‘I can’t stone him; he interpreted hence made a mistake’. (Umar) said: ‘Then dismiss him’. He (Abu Bakr) said: ‘I cannot put the sword back in the sheath'

Omar received Khalid because he was worried that people were crediting the the victories of the Muslims to Khalid's leadership instead of to Allah. He demoted Khalid to signal the Muslim's success didn't come from a single man but from God.

The reason Omar Bin Al-Khatab changed leadership from Khalid to Abu Obaida was because most of the major victories were under Khalid's lead and he didn't want soldiers to develop the believe that victory comes because of Khalid's leadership only leading to a major loss of moral in case of his death, and to show them that it was the sincerity and sheer devotion of the soldiers that brought victory no matter who leads.

Actually its a basic history lesson the average intelligent high school senior may first year college student knows by heart as well as western history. As 3rd world some middle eastern countries are they have nothing else but religion and education for any chance at advancement. I went from herein the US to JORDAN for 3 years 7th 8th and 9th grades dudes they were so far ahead in curriculum. You had to litteraly memorize everything it was exhausting and really depressing at the same time. I swear my schedule was school till 3 then a tutor of 3 to 4 hours a day other then my own work. But im happy I experienced that. Honestly our education system is letting us and our children down even in private school. Oh and I was in private school here not public I can only imagine. Basically this is mandatory knowledge to even have an attempt at college. Plus Western history meaning not just the US Europe and far East as well because it was all relavant becausethe Islamic empire spread from Africa to Spain Europe and China

Bush said that "God" told him to invade Iraq and Afghanistan. Not to mention the DOD was given the president defense reports littered with biblical verses complimenting pictures of the previous days war efforts.
Also, dont forget the last words of the bombing crew that dropped two nuclear bombs that killed millions in japan: "In jesus's name amen"
Now, reverse the situation and imagine if a Muslim leader said that "Allah" told him to invade two countries in lets say Europe and the defense department of his country were giving him reports filled with Quranic verses with pictures of the war.
Or lets say a bombing crew of a Muslim country (for example pakistan) ends their prayer with "In Allah's name ameen" before heading to their bombers to drop two nukes in a european country.
How much would you lose your mind and start going apeshit about it?

Al-Barā’ ibn ‘Āzib (rA) reports that while digging the trench outside Madinah to repel an approaching army, a massive boulder obstructed them and no ax could break it. With time running out, and with people’s fears and hunger growing, the Prophet ﷺ walked over and picked up the ax. He said, “Bismillāh (In God’s name),” and hammered the boulder, reducing a chunk of it to rubble. He said, “Allāhu Akbar (God is Great)! I have been given the keys to Shām; I can see its red palaces at this very moment.” Then he shattered another chunk and said, “Allāhu Akbar! I have been given the keys to Persia; I can see Madain’s white palace.” Then he shattered the last chunk and said, “Allāhu Akbar! I have been given the keys to Yemen. By Allah, I can see the Gates of Sanaa at this very moment from here.”
Regarding Egypt, he ﷺ took its conquest for granted, knowing his Lord’s promise was true. Abū Dharr (rA) narrated: The Prophet ﷺ said:
“You will certainly conquer Egypt, a land in which [a currency called] al-qīrāṭ is customary. When you conquer it, be gracious to its people, for they are entitled to a covenant and [the right of] family bonds. And when you see two men disputing over the place of a brick, then leave [Egypt].”

This video was fascinating to me. In the western histories I've read, the early Muslim conquests tends to be glossed over, usually stressing that the Romans & Sassanids were depleted after their war and thus implying that the Arabs just lucked out and benefited from an easy opportunity. But this video has shown me that they did go up against some massive armies, fought against overwhelming odds, and wouldn't have succeeded without a great deal of heroism and ingenuity. 🟨🟨Jesus lived in the region called today Middle east, that's why you should check what historical sources in this region are saying, history is about sources not "theories",Jesus was the Messiah simply a man,a reformer of faith. The majority of people under Romans and then later Byzintines in Syria,Iraq,Egypt,North Africa, part of central Asia and even Goths in Eastern Europe and Spain, and Germanic nations believed in Jesus simply as a prophet of God but Romans and Byzintines under the fast spread of the movement founded by Jesus tried to save the ideology of the impire which is paganism by integrating the new faith into their ideology and this is how "christianity was born" and they forced it on people around the ancient World with persecution, burning religious books and hisorical sources ,all what happened from the 1st century AD till modern era has been about this struggle, nations in what's now called Muslim World and in Spain for some period of time accepted Islam since it's close to their faith and Islam gave them religious freedom and these nations fought with Muslims and this why Islam spread so fast in few years , European nations stood against the Church in Rome and Constantinople but with time the Church was able to spread their political ideology, this period was called the "Darks ages" and it's the Church which made it dark ,later the European renaissace was just an other phase of this struggle.
Europeans today have no idea of their true history simply because the "Church" wiped it out .

Keep in mind, several factors worked in the Muslim's favor. Everywhere they invaded had been hit by either civil war or were weakened by constant warfare with another empire. Eastern Rome was weak from losing Egypt, the eastern Mediterranean and Turkey, and from constantly fighting Persia. Persia was also weak from fighting Rome and Arab raiders. Africa was also weak because they had not only civil war, but destroyed their fortifications and crops in the hopes it would dissuade the Muslims from invading, but all it did was accelerate their conquest. I also love how K&G stays as objective as possible and completely avoids any discussion on Muhammad's life or the details on the rise of Islam. Regarding Umar RA relieving Khalid from his command, It wasn't due to any animosity it was actually due to the fact that Khalid was winning so many battles at so many fronts in such a short time that the general populace started Attributing victories towards Khalid himself rather than Allah. Fearing that such high reverence of Khalid might lead to some sort of apostasy he immediately relieved him of Command. All though in his later years Umar RA would severely regret the decision citing that had Khalid Remained commander he may have conquered the entirety of Europe and Asia on his own.

@Michael Donato i think Umar RA made a wise decision, because Khalid Ibn Al Waleed was conquering lands faster than the Caliph could keep track of + as @hadi mentioned, his name was revered more than God, for whom he was fighting. It was not out of the fear of him making a separate name for himself that Umar RA gave the decision but the consideration of how his heroics could create space for people to idolise him. Any wise muslim ruler will take this into consideration.
Plus, it was because of this decision that he was able to defeat the Byzantines in Syria

Hazrat Umar's reign saw Islams rise but the conquests were relatively slower cz he interfered too much in the army's welfare.
He sitting in Medina used to give instructions to the commanders like who will be in charge of the left or right flank, where would the army rest when to send reinforcement. Obviously there was no whatsp that time so it took months conveying a single message and this slowed the conquests.

It's questionable for me, Why did the Arab Nations call 'Khalid bin Waleed' a "Hero"?
'Khalid ibn Walid' was from the 'Bani Makhzum' tribe of the 'Quraysh' tribe (Of the 29 battles of the Prophet Muhammad, 12 was against the Quraysh tribe. The Quraysh tribe was one of the Arab tribes of Hejaz.) His father, 'Walid ibn Mughira', was one of The most stubborn enemies of Islam. 'Khalid ibn Walid' was one of the 'Quraysh' allies who had the "position of the Dome," meaning the arsenal and ammunition, as well as the position of head of the 'Quraysh' army. He was one of the commanders of the polytheists (pagan) in the battle of 'Uhud' Against Islam and one of the causes of the defeat of the Islamic army in that battle. He took part in all the pagan wars "against" the 'Prophet Muhammad', After (bayʻat ar-riḍwān), they united.
In the case of the Massacre and looting 'Malik bin Noireh' Arab tribe, After Massacre 'Khalid' killed 'Malik ibn Nuwayrah' while he was (an Arab and Muslim) then raped his wife that night, and put Malik's head in a pot of food and cooked it! had also committed adultery. also, the Massacres and looting Muslims of the 'Jazima' Arab tribes (The way it was fought was also cowardly, This is another story).
in the battle of 'Ullais', 'Khalid Ibn Walid' said if they could defeat the "Sassanid" army in the battle of 'Ullais' (the Ullais region in the al-Badiyah area near the Euphrates River, 633 AD in Iraq), "I paint the river red with their blood" and because the 'Sasanian' Army was defeated( Coup in the Sasanian capital, This is another story); By order of 'Khalid', the people of the city (They were of Arab descent), all of them (Anyone who could not escape the city, children, women, old men) taken captive, By order Khalid They beheaded them And their blood was shed in the river.
'al-Mughira ibn Shu'ba' says" There were mills along the river, by order 'Khalid' They made flour with bloody water for three days and prepared food for the army of 18,000 or more. The dead in 'Ellis' was forty or seventy thousand people.
'Khalid bin Waleed' committed war crimes. he is the butcher of a lot of Arab people (Muslims and non-Muslims). According to Shari'a Law, They should have executed 'Khalid bin Walid'. For political reasons 'Prophet Muhammad' covered 'Khalid' sins And crimes because he needed his services. Actually 'Prophet Muhammad' was a partner in the sins of 'Khalid ibn Walid'.
for example, 'Amr' (second caliph), strongly objected to him, called him an enemy of God, and swore that he would kill 'Khalid'. (throwing stones at his head until he died). But since 'Abu Bakr' (first caliph) desperately needed Khalid's powerful army to advance his rule, he defended him and did not impose any punishment on him.
      .
In fact, 'Khalid bin Waleed' was a criminal Mercenary in the service of Islam so that Islam could grow and spread with the help of his sword. With this description, 'Khalid bin Waleed' cannot be called a "Hero".
If you look in history books, you will see many such acts. Some audiences criticize what I have mentioned above and deny it, Some people also said that Khalid bin Waleed became a Muslim and all his sins were forgiven by God. I must say that we are not talking about supernatural matters, for this reason, I mention to reference:

Fun fact: The title of "Caliph" means successor, steward or deputy and it stems from the Arabic word "Khalifa" which means successor or ruler. So Abu Bakr by taking on the tile of "Caliph" symbolically signaled that Muhammad was still the true leader of the Islamic faith and he was only acting in accordance to Muhammad and by extension Allah's will.

Amr Farouk That may be its meaning today, but 1400 years ago it was more or less „representative“. In the Quran itself (2:30) the word is used to describe Adam as the representative of God on Earth. Adam could hardly be Godˋs successor. That‘s also why the Shia still consider their Imams „khalifat Allah“, representatives of God, preserving an original Islamic concept that has been lost in Sunniism.

Europeans today have no idea of their true history simply because the "Church" wiped it out .

Extra context: In the Qur'an, the holy book of Islam, there's the Chapter of Rome. First few verses talk about the wars between Rome & Persians in the context that Rome was a Christian Empire believing in the God of Bible just like the way Muslims believe. So any defeat Rome had was making Muslims feel bad and the pagans feel extremely happy. Chapter of Rome was revealed after a major victory of Persians over Romans prophesizing a major victory of Rome against Persians some 10+ years later and it happened. Worth reading.

We have a population of some 350 million people, they claim that one million people have been confirmed as having Corona virus, that's one out of every 350. Your chances of getting hit by lightning is one in 300. Are people wearing hardhats with lighting rods on them to protect themselves from lighting? It's a farce. But because of it, people are paying $600.00 for freezers that wouldn't have sold for $100.00 three months ago. The last one we sold had 200 hits on the advertising in Facebook within 3 hours of posting it, they came from up to 150 miles away for the one freezer we advertised because all the stores sold all they had weeks ago and are saying they won't be able to get any more until August. Of course if they didn't cram their freezers with so much food they block off the circulation of air that causes freezers to fail, they wouldn't need to look for another one. People are crazy. I'm curious to know what it is this is diverting attention from. A .005% chance of getting flu isn't something I'm going to worry about. Don't worry, it's not going to last much longer.

      @@dancingwiththedarkness3352 You are right bro.
But to answer your question of what it is diverting our attention from, most likely the enormous troop placement that is occuring atm near the Lithuanian, Polish and Ukranian borders. 'Defender 2020' is a farce. More than 1k tanks, and a huge ammount of humvee's, AA-mounts, Troop Transports, Logistical Trucks, over 100k soldiers and a Fleet in the Baltic Sea, is NOT neccesary for a 'Military excercise'. Largest troop displacement of the US to Europe in over 25 years.. Even in this moment dozens of trains & planes are arriving by the day in those areas carrying even more military equipment.
But ofc Russia is going to be made the agressor by the Media in the not too distant future. Not saying Russia is a Saint, but this kind of Military Troop Displacement, the russians havent seen since Operation Barbossa by the Germans.
And as far as Corona goes, it is a Virus, it is deadly, but the panic we be doing is totally excagerated. We be putting on Masks and maintaining Social Distance like its an airbourne virus, which it is not. If it were we'd have 100's of millions of infected, and millions dead.

@@admiralsquatbar127 you would think so, all the retail stores sold out their freezers two weeks ago, they still let people put orders in, knowing they wouldn't get them until July. We checked again Monday, they won't let you preorder them and won't get any more until August, those factory's have been shut down and have to fill the back orders first, whenever they decide they can go back to work. We have to get used ones whenever we can find them. Of course they are aware of the law of supply and demand. They know theres no supply and have been demanding 5 times what we used to get them for. Then being used, they've been selling ones that can't be fixed with the good ones. The only way to make sure their good is plug them in and run them for 24 hours. Between the cost of buying them and the junk ones we had to pay $400.00 each for that can't be fixed, so far we are making about $25.00 on each one sold. The only reason we bother is people who are going to lose over a thousand dollars of food unless they can get another freezer fast enough. Another week and we won't have any refrigerators either. We constantly check on the stores, but there are people who need one, but seeing the price think we're ripping people off, then they go all over town finding out they can't get one anywhere. They run back to get ours, but they usually are paid for and hauled off within a hour after we open. They're freaking out because they're losing all that food and all we can tell them is if we find more, we'll call them, but they if they don't get there quickly enough, someone will buy it. It's artificial shortages created for something that apparently doesn't exist. It's going to get a lot worse, theres no lawnmowers, other appliances and basically everything summer related that hadn't been shipped to the stores before they shut everything down. That stock we had is almost gone and it isn't even when we normally start selling these things. The stores are saying they won't have any of that until August as well. I've seen a few freezers advertised for $1,500.00 for something 10 years old. When we run out, people will have no choice but to pay their prices, buying from them you buy as is no matter how much you pay. The freezer might not even be capable of working at all. Like we are, anyone buying from them is stuck with it. Private sales from people's homes have no legal protections at all, and without plugging them in for 24 hours theres no way to know if they are good until then. Greedy people are taking advantage of it. We do what we can for our customers, as a reward, they believe we're ripping them off, $25.00 isn't worth the time and trouble, but it's one less that they can sell for 3 times what we do. These people will drag them out of alleys and sell them as good. To be good in business, it seems to be more profitable when you have no morals at all. I just sit and watch the madness, yes it's fear and loathing in the land of Trump. Actually I'm beginning to suspect this is them buying the next election, they're tossing money around like it's nothing. But enjoy your vacation, it's going to get interesting!

      He was indeed a superhero.
The romans were even more immoral and bloodthirsty.
They and the persians have been fighting pointless wars for centuries.
Innocent people suffered the most because of it.
So yes Khalid (May God be pleased with him) and all the other Muslims of that time were indeed real life heroes much to the dismay of you and the likes of you.

Khalid bin Walid was the definition of a War machine, he even spoke about his love of being on the battlefield, though I can say much of his bravery came through his faith. In Islam, dying through combat for the sake of the faith is by far one of the most honourable and awarded ways to die.

There was a sandstorm in the dessert heading north and he knew about it. When the storm struck he knew the Arabs could see better in it and the Romans would flee. So he sent a cavalry unit and blocked the escape route to make sure he killed all of them.

And Islam is the Arabic word of beliving in this God and follow the path of all these Prophets, The really true God who created the heavens and earth, who created live and death, God who created all creation.
