Seeing Cellebrini live for first time tonight, was reminded of McDavid: incredible quickness, aggressiveness, and rink vision three seconds ahead of the play. Love the sharks, and it’s looking amazing there, but they still got the 4th worst pts% in the league, likely won’t be out of first row. In saying that, the future looks extremely bright and I’m looking forward to watching them win the cup eventually!
@ if you take out the first 9 games (0-7-2) sharks are 9-6-3, and the last 4 3-1 scoring a lot of goals! And the 1 loss they completely dominated Ottawa only allowing 11 shots but the goaltending let us down, sharks have been real strong in November and deserve 3rd row for 1 week!
Devils fan here. We usually struggle with Washington so I’ll take 2-1-1 vs the capitals. Hope we see them in the playoffs. Would be a good series. GG capitals
We struggle vs alot of team. Actually we struggle alot in the first. Also Allen lost us that game like cover the puck and dont leave your net shouldve been 5-4 but instead the terrible defence and goaltending showed for 3 straight games.
@ calm down. It’s okay. We won the season series vs the caps. We got 5 points out of 4 games and they got 4 points. We have some work to do but this team has beat a lot of very good teams. It’s unfortunate we lose to bad teams but they won’t be the teams we are playing in the playoffs. I like our odds vs any team in the playoffs right now. Plus who knows who we add at the deadline. I do agree with goaltending tho… it’s been questionable last couple games.
The Caps just won’t go away!! Top offense in the league, back in first in the metro, winning without their best player, this team is SCARY. Just wait until ovechkin comes back

Yeah a lot of people point to the refs or Kirby Dach or the Habs having a rough penalty kill tonight. But the Rangers do deserve a lot of credit for their power play which is absolutely lethal
@@michaelb4590 Ok you're clearly just biased. I can name 5+ times the refs helped out the Habs. In fact, their 3rd goal would not have happened if they called the blatant hook/trip on Anderson 30 seconds earlier. They gave them soft calls, Habs were crying for them all game. You should be embarrassed that you're blaming the loss on the refs when they gave the Habs breaks just as much.
@@jimmtl9736 It's honestly pathetic seeing the amount of people blaming this loss on the refs and downplaying NYR's win, including one of the people that replied to this comment. Rangers played a strong game, doesn't matter about missed calls or who they were playing against. Saying it's "just the Canadiens" is also downplaying the Habs performance. I just think what I saw was clearly a step in the right direction.
as a sharks fan, i expected this year to be fun but not this fun. this team went from starting bad to slowly building the belief that they can win games, and now they're competing every night. its incredible to witness and the tank is slowly filling back up too.
Flyers are now 7-2-1 in their last 10. Michkov scored his 3rd ot winner and tied for all time teen records. He should win the Calder and they are a wagon now. If playoffs started today, they are in. Wow!
Despite the result, it was one of Binnington’s strongest performances. Before the Blues scored in the third, it looked like the biggest problem was going to be that Binner can’t score goals, too. Seriously, without him, it would have been an exterminate magnet for the flyers.
CAR - There's a lot more of this to come if they don't solve that goaltending problem. A cardboard cut-out of Cam Ward. Something...LAK - Seem to be on a roll. I'm impressed...SJS - At last figuring out how to get that two points...UTA... 🤣 ...At the "The Fortress" no less...NSH - The coffin nearly covered with dirt now...
I don’t think last night was a goaltending problem. A lot of those goals were kind of hard to make the save. Everyone wants to blame one thing, they were playing the best team in the league when the emotion is turned up.
Total domination by the Panthers, spelling absolute doom on the Canes' lines. We are officially so back! Time to rack up some more points and keep the W streak!
Thanks for the video! How did my guesses go? Rangers, yes. Cane, nope. Devils, nope. Blues, nope. Leafs, yes. Flames, nope. Kings, yes. Sabres, nope. Wild, yes. Kraken, nope. Avs, nope? Knights, nope. Four out of twelve! I'm guessing worse than earlier! 😛
Kinda sad to see so many Habs fans blame the entire result on Kirby Dach. Like sure it wasn't the best idea considering the rangers were 2/3 on the pp at that point, but man in general the Habs had a really bad penalty kill tonight, even with those questionable calls they couldn't even keep the puck out of the zone ever
The penalty call against the leafs to put the lightning within one was absolutely abhorrent and the refs have to be held accountable for such an atrocious call
Score one for the good guys! Rangers get back a couple important players. How-EV-AH Kakko’s goal was slightly tainted by the no-call which made Montreal fans collectively have a stroke.
It wasn’t just one bad call there were multiple extra power plays and looking the other way for calls that should have gone against rangers. Worst game by refs I’ve seen all year
Being a Kings fan is weird. I'm not PLEASED with the team but they're winning? And being a Kraken fan is just an exercise in being calm and patient and not looking at our puckpedia page
While not saying it's 100% the goalie's fault, the Canes brass have to make a decision on adding one. I'm also ticked off that Florida destroyed us in back to back games.
I was the 1000th like for the video so please hear me out, LA kings should have been higher in the power rankings. Beat the Jets on a back to back, Ducks, and Sens. Kings should have been higher than the Canucks and Rangers
Gg Utah. Dont forget to thank the schedule-makers. Who plays seven games in eleven days with a B2B one day after returning from an East Coast road trip.
You gotta remember that his biggest naysayers never even watch his games. He could hit every single remaining goalie record for the Blues, go on a 10 game winning streak, and we’d still have people claiming that he’s trash because of the antics (that he hasn’t even done in 2 years)
The Coach in previous head gigs ..knows hockey..but the momentum I never really see it.. (Coached Pens midseason to Cup 2009..not so much after…a dud time in Buffalo.. to minors with good results..quality roster here in Seattle……)
Rough game for him, but hard to be mad at him for dropping a single game in a season. Also, and this shouldn't need to be said, but no team should rely solely on 1 guy to be successful. Bad for both parties
Wow very disappointing. You didn’t really review the Rangers game you obviously didn’t watch it. I’m not going to say why I’m saying that but it’s obvious
I'm never one to blame a win or loss on reffing, but the reffing in the second period of the HABS-NYR game today was infuriating, made me so mad I couldn't even bother watching the 3rd.
The whole team except Slavin packed it in after the 2nd, especially after that late period goal. They have no confidence with Martin back there and play like it. Knowing you have to score 4 at minimum every game to win because your goalie will give up a useless 2-3 goals has got to be exhausting…
Sens defense let them down tonight, too many Kings in behind coverage and allowed to put passes together - oh and tipping it into your own net in the first 2 minutes isn’t great either

"...This is a story about control, my control Control of what I say, control of what I do And this time I'm gonna do it my way I hope you enjoy this as much as I do" That is the opening to Janet Jackson's song Control and Control is what the Oilers did for most of this game. They had it. They used it. First period late on a Janmark penalty the PK finally gave up one but that's ALL they gave up. Stuart Skinner credited the PK for the win tonight and they played a massive part in it but he made a TON of great stops. The Avalanche goal was a one timer from Leon's spot by a player with a great shot. Zero chance, can't blame Stu. After this, ALL OILERS. After what seemed like a storm in front of Georgiev, Connor spotted Kapanen who batted it in for his first goal as an Oiler. Connor had 2 D on him so Kasperi had some breathing room and made it count. Assists to Connor and Nuge (who also had the Empty Netter for 2 points on the night). On to the second period. Potsgoalsin (Podkolzin) redirects a nice wrister by Stetcher that I doubt Georgiev even saw with both Pods and an Avalanche D in front of him. This was the game winning goal, the third game in a row Pods has scored in, and it was pretty. Third period, Kulak gets his fifth goal of the season with assists from his linemate Emberson and from Jeff Skinner. Nice shot through multiple screens and, again, I doubt Georgiev even saw it. Final goal on the night a nice empty netter by Nuge with a great pass from Henrique who got it from Bouchard. Things I noticed from the stats: The Oilers outshot Colorado 32 to 28. Still close but I expected more from Colorado especially considering they got FIVE power play opportunities (and we'll get to that in a bit). Oilers nine hits to 16 for the Av's so not a horribly physical game. Oilers slaughtered the Av's in the circle winning 37 to the Av's 16. PP went 0 for 2 tries and the PK finally let in one on five penalties. Oilers took 14 minutes of penalty time, Av's took 8. The kill got worked and that one goal for Colorado was a zero chance one timer on a pass across. No way Stu could have gotten across in time. Either the refs really didn't like the Oilers or they lacked discipline (or took penalties to prevent goals). Oilers had way fewer giveaways (two) to the Av's 11. They also had fewer takeaways (3) to the Av's 9. Oilers blocked more shots (I know, it must be the end times) with 15 to the Av's 9. I know the Av's were playing their 3rd game in 4 nights and both teams were on the 2nd half of back to backs but I expected more. Skinner got a great save on MacKinnon and did a great job in net (winning first star of the game with a .964 Save %age). Maybe Dallas beat them up a bit but the Av's looked like they climbed a mountain to only make it to the top then fall off. Next up, Vegas Golden Knights who got pounded by Utah HC Six to Nothing. For those that think Utah is just Arizona 2.0 you're wrong. They are not a bad team. They have needs sure but they can beat you (as the Oilers almost found out and Vegas learned much to their chagrin I'm sure). LA beat Ottawa so we make up no ground on them though we do pass Calgary (based on wins and games in hand) in the standing to take over 3rd in the Pacific. Take care all
Devils need to figure it the f*ck out. The inconsistency in the game and poor decision making by Allen and Mercer are not part of the makings of a championship team.
can you make a video about seattles mediocrity so we can start winning games again? i jest but seriously, its been very frustrating watching this team as of late.
Situation room in Toronto taking that final point away from the Kraken was just mean. They weren't going to score another in seven seconds, so why punch them while they were already down after a garbage week?
Devils are so bad... Inconsistent, slow start, struggle to get pucks on net early and often, get caved in their own zone too much and just all the same issues every game..They play great vs NSH and then they have 3 straight yikes games. Big game vs Rangers they better show up. starting to get concerned with how much they struggle in the first. They are so predictable, easy to counter and stop. i hate this team
Cats found their identity again. They were having a hard time getting emotionally invested in games after their back to back cup appearances. Ekblad has been fantastic and the team is playing as one unit again. Great win for the Panthers.
I hate to be that guy, but I'm increasingly convinced Colorado isn't making the playoffs this year. Nothing is clicking. You can attribute that to injuries, but it doesn't change the outcome.
The team just sucks. Terrible goaltending, below average D. Essentially, the team's offense is what carries them 90% of the time. They need to cut Gabe, make McKinnon the captain, and use the cap space to get a clutch goalie at the very least. As is, the 2022 Avs barely resemble the modern Avs is so many ways.
Nothing to say about the refs in the NY Habs game? Whats the point of even talking about the game. The most consequential turning point, was that no-call in the dying seconds of the 3rd. Dude its like all stats no substance.

as a sharks fan, i expected this year to be fun but not this fun. this team went from starting bad to slowly building the belief that they can win games, and now they're competing every night. its incredible to witness and the tank is slowly filling back up too.
carolina is realllly suffering while kochetkov and andersen are out.
Time for Canes GM to look around and land a goalie languishing elsewhere.
Yeah but the offense also failed tn. That third period was bad
Wonder if anyone’s got a 42 year old Zamboni driver that we can borrow
Flyers are now 7-2-1 in their last 10. Michkov scored his 3rd ot winner and tied for all time teen records. He should win the Calder and they are a wagon now. If playoffs started today, they are in. Wow!
I reckon Celebrini takes the Calder
it’ll be close
Dude is mid 5on5….
Despite the result, it was one of Binnington’s strongest performances. Before the Blues scored in the third, it looked like the biggest problem was going to be that Binner can’t score goals, too. Seriously, without him, it would have been an exterminate magnet for the flyers.
Most underrated goalie in the league
The away fisherman is my favorite version of the sweater. Been looking for one forever
CAPS CAPS CAPS 🎉❤
Kinda sad to see so many Habs fans blame the entire result on Kirby Dach. Like sure it wasn't the best idea considering the rangers were 2/3 on the pp at that point, but man in general the Habs had a really bad penalty kill tonight, even with those questionable calls they couldn't even keep the puck out of the zone ever
I think the refs in the Rangers game got a bit of extra holiday cash if you know what I mean ;)
The penalty call against the leafs to put the lightning within one was absolutely abhorrent and the refs have to be held accountable for such an atrocious call
Kings have their longest win streak of the season at 3. Look forward to Quick hitting 400 wins.
Kings heating up
For the susuki goal it was Hudson who had the assist not matheson.
More evidence he didn’t watch the game just read the score sheet as it was initially listed that way
Can't wait for your power rankings. Curious to see how much you bump up my Caps!
It was Chisholms first goal also.
Get it together Tampa!!!🤬🤬🤬
UTAH 💪💪💪💪💪
😂😂😂😂
If the Avs get any more frustrating to watch I'm going to become a bandwagon Sharks fan just so I can watch some exciting hockey this season
Worst game by refs I’ve seen all year
not sure why stauber hasn't been given more of a shot before now, he's always been solid when up.
Being a Kings fan is weird. I'm not PLEASED with the team but they're winning? And being a Kraken fan is just an exercise in being calm and patient and not looking at our puckpedia page
Sharks!!
Will Binnington's amazing save make any of his naysayers go away?
No 😂
You gotta remember that his biggest naysayers never even watch his games. He could hit every single remaining goalie record for the Blues, go on a 10 game winning streak, and we’d still have people claiming that he’s trash because of the antics (that he hasn’t even done in 2 years)
Remember when Washington couldn't score on the power play? All I said was they need to get that figured out and they'd be golden.
Sharks cup parade 🎉
Im pretty happy utah smoked vegas
The kraken make me cry
The Coach in previous head gigs ..knows hockey..but the momentum I never really see it..
(Coached Pens midseason to Cup 2009..not so much after…a dud time in Buffalo.. to minors with good results..quality roster here in Seattle……)
I considered watching the Utah game, but I was sure Vegas was going to pwn them again. How wrong I was.
The fisherman!
Poor Stauber didn't earn a Tony the Tiger magnet.
Nate MacKinnon belongs on the side of a milk carton.
with 36pts?
Rough game for him, but hard to be mad at him for dropping a single game in a season. Also, and this shouldn't need to be said, but no team should rely solely on 1 guy to be successful. Bad for both parties
Wow very disappointing. You didn’t really review the Rangers game you obviously didn’t watch it. I’m not going to say why I’m saying that but it’s obvious
I'm never one to blame a win or loss on reffing, but the reffing in the second period of the HABS-NYR game today was infuriating, made me so mad I couldn't even bother watching the 3rd.
You missed a great period but even worse reffing. Clearly Shannon didn’t watch one minute of this game
VGK fan here. I don't why Vegas signed a crappy goalie. I don't know why they didn't pull him after the 3rd goal. it's like they wanted us to lose
Really starting to look like another disappointing season for both Sabres and the Sens.
Before the 3rd period, I thought Spencer Martin was going to have a decent game.
The whole team except Slavin packed it in after the 2nd, especially after that late period goal.
They have no confidence with Martin back there and play like it. Knowing you have to score 4 at minimum every game to win because your goalie will give up a useless 2-3 goals has got to be exhausting…
Tampa 18-7 SOG in the third- not Toronto.
Celebrini, Eklund, and Smith ☑️
Now, we just need Matthew Schaefer on the backend, and we are set for the next decade and a half
Sorry Im 20 seconds late.
I'm waiting for the thg power ranking.... Will the sharks step up from the bottom row? Maybe in the top 16? The day will come... Hmmm 🤔
Didn't - did not, is for emphasis.
Sens defense let them down tonight, too many Kings in behind coverage and allowed to put passes together - oh and tipping it into your own net in the first 2 minutes isn’t great either

Again, waiting for surgery, couldn't watch or listen to the game just some highlights after the fact.
"...This is a story about control, my control
Control of what I say, control of what I do
And this time I'm gonna do it my way
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do"
That is the opening to Janet Jackson's song Control and Control is what the Oilers did for most of this game.
What time will the power rankings be up?
9am ET. Been like that a few weeks
Sure didn't say how bad the referee was go figure 😊
Caps offensive prowess remaining sustainable ✅
Armchair analyst wrong again ✅
Ovi out and neither Strome or Wilson to record a point, but still score 6 as a team. This Capitals team is definitely better than I expected.
can you make a video about seattles mediocrity so we can start winning games again? i jest but seriously, its been very frustrating watching this team as of late.
Shane Wright is actually Shane Wrong
Situation room in Toronto taking that final point away from the Kraken was just mean. They weren't going to score another in seven seconds, so why punch them while they were already down after a garbage week?
Cuz that was the right call anyway lol.
As a Sharks fan totally agree, seemed tick tacky. Might be the over under phone call prom Vegas.
You missed the Habs v New York “Refs” joke/analysis. Rangers dug deep in their pockets to pay the refs on this one.
Offside or not, a 6 minute review was ridiculous.
I know it's a pipe dream, but if we can get Matthew Schaefer in 2025 draft, the rebuild will be officially over.
We need a RD more than a LD so if we get Schafer what do we trade for that RD we need?
I don't think that the Sharks are winning the lottery again
As the Avs team all becomes week by week and month by month, Bednar's job should be day to day at this point. Unacceptable and uninspired hockey.
The fact that the team is even in the running for a playoff spot with half the team injured is a wonder. You have zero clue what you're talking about.
@@ShenmueAtheistThey would still be on the hook for Landy's contract. They would have 35 million in dead cap space for the next 5 seasons.
There are still 4 months left in the season
Do not worry, i just picked Wedgewood from the waiver wire and they won't lose for while ...
Nothing to say about the refs in the NY Habs game? Whats the point of even talking about the game. The most consequential turning point, was that no-call in the dying seconds of the 3rd. Dude its like all stats no substance.
Knights pathetic. How could they get blown out to a team that doesn’t have a name yet
Maybe because they slept on a team that they should have taken more seriously.
It was simply an off night.
