I remember there used to be a strand of Langston’s drum majors from 97-03 squads that always brought it. I like that the style is back

Props to LU for having the smallest flag corps of any HBCU band that I have seen this year. Normally at least half of them are pretty big ladies.
Major improvements from last year! Drum majors do need some more exhilarating routines tho...I like the style and the activity, but it looks stiff. Brass section needs some tuning before every game too. There are a few novices in there that are off pitch. .but overall, great strides LUMP! I'm super proud!

How did they grow in a year like that? Serious question because a lot of schools that have declining band programs need to get some pointers. When they came to Lane in 2017 they only had like 8 drummers and 20 horn players.

DRUM MAJORS .......when you are on NATIONAL YOU TUBE !!!! You guys need to be tight on that footwork....stop being LAZY LIONS....get better on your execution....

I agree DMs need alot work
Please tune them drum. Bass drums sound like trash bags.Get the same type of drums too. DM movements needs work. Flags get to the point where you don't have to count out loud. Y'all are on the right path but you got to put in more work and bring this together. Please don't be that big trashy band that thinks they are the ish. Alumni needs to step up and help get the things the band need to be great. Keep pushing y'all. Its a lot of u out here watching and expecting y'all to be one of the newest power houses. Y'all got the size now bring the sound and work on the movements.
