After riding a few laps at Bromont, I decided to flip the stem the other direction for 10mm rise. Definitely seemed better that way for bike parks and steepness!!
How are you liking the FUNN bars? Do you like them more than the PNW bars? I ask because I'm looking at buying a new bar.
Hopefully your videos return.
I often find myself revisiting them as I continue to learn and look for more info.
Nice job man! I like the stem and the tool ;-)
Just ordered a FUNN Equaliser yesterday from m Amazon, should be here later today. Pretty excited, my previous stem is 70mm the FUNN will be half that.
Been 4 months it says, so how do you like it so far?
I didn't the stem space they sent. I actually didnt notice that it comes with one ane i bought another one from the bike shop for $1.50. But apparently after reading the manual the spacer is supposed to go on top of the stem. I didnt do that either. Seems to work fine for now.
cuanto mide en la parte domde tiene 2 pernos allen medira 40mm de cuanto son los pernos seran para llaves allen de 5 mm ?
nice clip 👍
You really have to check out Whistler. We spent two weeks out there in Sept. Its about the same amount of travelling time as driving to Bromont. One of the guys I went with took your sticker and tried to put it on one of the lift chairs. The airlines are getting desparate for business...great time to book. Mr. Great Trails would make a great guide. You don't know gnar until you've tried InDeep, Facrobat, and such.
hopefully next year. It's still way cheaper for me to drive to Bromont and sleep in the van than fly to BC. Especially if I have to rent a car!
@@ToogyHowser Whistler can be as cheap or as as expensive as you want to make it. $55 for the bus from the airport. A car is unnecessary as everything in Whistler is in walking distance (you'd just park the car and never use it). $100/night for a condo with a kitchen - make your own meals. Besides, it's Whistler! :)
How wide is the new stem at the bar clamp?
Cool stem . Love the colour... Dude send me one of them sr suntour aion fork please .🤗
Does flipping the stem affect reach at all or j my rise?
I think FUNN is underrated. That equalizer stem looks pretty sick. I'm gonna get some FUNN stems and bars for my Roscoe 7 2021.
Great review!
looks like the i9 stems but way cheaper
It's actually a 10 mm rise not a 10 degree, I think it's got about a 17° rise on the short one you can look at the diagram on Amazon. I've been running this for a few weeks and I've just come into an issue that I've noticed slowly, my handlebars have become misaligned more than once, so I took the stem off of my bike and reinstalled it on another bike and noticed that regardless of how tight I got my pinch bolts I could still turn my handlebars aside to side well my wheel was locked between my legs meaning the stem can't be tight enough regardless of how tight you get the pinch bolts. So this happened on both my bikes not just one and I own two other Funn stems (Funnduro and stryge), I tightened to the pinch bolts past 6 newton meters and still experience the stem not locking onto the steer tube correctly. I reinstalled both of my other stems just to make sure I wasn't crazy. Also used some grease to try to add some friction and that did not help.
Take the stem off and tighten the bolts snug to close the gap and re install on the bike. That should take care of your issue.
You need friction compound not greese, or is that what you meant? Friction compound is made for using with carbon components because of the fact that you can't over torque things and it adds friction so it won't move with less torque.
I really like the Toogy Howser stem cap. How can I get that?
I got it from stemcaps.com, maybe they can make you one?
Why did devinci stop making the kobain!

You missed a spot when shaving your moustache, and it looks like a very small version of a certain failed Austrian painter. 😂
Just a copy of DMR Defy ...
But you can’t flip the dmr defy.
DMR Defy raises (or drops) 5mm this is 10mm
